This tournament needed this game. IMO.
Agreed. UCLA went from playing in the First Four to taking the #1 team in the country (all season long) to the wire in overtime in the Final Four. They ruined brackets everywhere and proved they belonged to be in the tournament. Damn that game was great to watch.
West Coast basketball delivered, unlike Texas basketball in the first game
I thought Clark Kellogg saying "UCLA didn't lose, they ran out of time" was the best possible time to use that analogy. He was absolutely right.
It has been pretty boring since the opening rounds.

Looked like Cronin was yelling for a timeout and his players decided to just disregard him. That was weird.
Quite the emotional roller coaster in those last three seconds for UCLA fan.
Coaches are allowed to call timeouts in that situation, under 2 minutes, so he could have if he wanted to.
Great game and great run for UCLA. Prolly the 3rd or 4th best ending to a NCAA tourney game I’ve ever seen.
