Just find it funny that although we all obviously partake in an online message board for college basketball some people will call others obsessed.

Don’t think this could be classified under “obsession.”
This is a huge story with rather far reaching implications. It does affect college basketball as a whole. Given what has happened, I imagine the ncaa** is going to implement some (more) rules for oversight. If other schools are smart, then they need to investigate what all is going on in their athletic departments.
Jurich, IMO, was afforded too much autonomy. It’s easy to become corrupted under those circumstances. A lot of money was involved; even the best of people can get caught up in it.
This affects Kentucky fans who live in the state as well as Louisville fans. We’re talking about a situation that involves our largest city and it involves the taxpayers.

I’m more concerned about the vast majority of UK fans outside of Jefferson Co. who continually support Matt Bevin.

Yeah, college basketball. You and a few others are here for Louisville
I, unlike many of my Big blue friends, do not necessarily cheer against Louisville. Especially since they joined the ACC. Louisville winning makes me feel 100x better than duke or the former institute of learning in chapel hill. Hell I even rooted for them to beat Indiana this year before conference play even begin I would say that’s a record.

They are a rival to my favorite team. Do you openly cheer for your rivals? Do I like them? No. Do I like them more than a few of their opponents? Yes.

You said I was obsessed with Louisville. I simply pointed out to you that I was not and then went on to say that I don’t even hate Louisville like the typical UK fan. Mainly because I live on the Tennessee line and I deal with more fans of other schools.

I think the UK Board of Trustees for the University of Louisville has a great response today according to a UL student whom I know.
1) No sex parties in Minardi Hall, period. All such parties must be off campus.
2) Said "parties" shall no longer include any female under 18, Period.!
2b) One female must be Caucasian.
3) Said "parties" shall not consist of squirting to the ceiling, or shall no request be made of such. Period!
4) If any cash is to be paid for a student athlete, said athlete must be no less than a 5*.
4b) Said athlete must have a ESPN rank of 10th or less
5) The University willfully acknowledges Jurich/Pitino knew nothing about anything pertaining to U L Athletics
5b) The Polygraph Test, used by the university machine will be calibrated immediately.
