Well, I mean----duh. But they didn't play at all. Both are really good rim protectors. Just surprised not to see them get any run at all.
Short answer, because they suck. Hagans should've been benched after halftime though. He's the one that drove the bus over a cliff.

I was gonna mention the fact that the only white player on the floor was 0 for 2 with two air balls, but he decided to take his next shot closer to the basket and actually made it.

I don't care how "good" they are. We already beat them twice (once by thirty), have a shit ton of draft picks and they just lost one of their stars to an ACL. This is a terrible loss. Pair this with blowing a Final Four run to hobbled Kansas State in the chaos region last year, it's inexcusable to not get a Final Four in the last two years.

Do I think UK should have beaten KSU last year? Yes. Beat Auburn? I mean, probably. But they are good man.

I'm not a Cal hater like some people seem to be, but his system is useless if we aren't getting Final Four appearances out if it. I'm tired of waiting months to get watchable basketball because "it's a process" and then not even having any payoff at the end of the season.
One Final Four since 2015 would have been enough. But of course, we've choked three away and had to watch extended stretches of bad basketball three of those four seasons.

I don’t think so. We’ll get nick, ej, Quickley and Baker back. Basically our bench. Better than nothing though like in 2013 and 2016. I think Quickley will be a better college point guard than Hagans. I’m not sure why he didn’t get more run. I think maybe Hagans was always leaving regardless so Cal tried to give him as much run as possible? Idk.

Auburn had a chip on their shoulder and played like it was not a formality like UK. UK is not used to being tested like this.
