Take out the last two years, last year being an anomaly, and this year theyve only played 2, one to open the season and one on the road in conf.

There is a vast difference between Kentucky from 2009-2015 and Kentucky from 2016 to now. The numbers don’t lie

Just bc they lost in the tourney.

Mayes shot doesnt fall they have another FF.

They beat effin kstate they prolly have another FF

But ur right they put together some ridiculously talented teams befre they told www to become scarce.

But they were also on one of the better runs in cbb history, so hard to compare that to anyone.

But they didn’t beat Kansas st. That draw was as easy as it got for UK and they choked.

If ur analyzing the projectory of the program you shoukd see they have a damn good squad this year. And losing games vegas has u favored to lose isnt exacly underachieving.

Auburn does as well i think the sec cones down to yall 2. Where yall play this year?

Yes. I am sorry if analyzing the trajectory of a program is a little over your head.
Are you though, If it were that easy, then where were you in '16?

So in your opinion, Auburn going to dominate from now on and UK isn't.

I can't argue with that logic.

Pearl had a far bigger mess to dig Auburn out of than what cal had at Kentucky. 2016 was only pearls second and third seasons. Auburn wheat Kentucky in 2016 as well

I know barbee sucked but jfc so did billy clyde.

cal was able to dig out of that meas by bringing in wall/cousins/bledsoe in the same class. If bdb had done that year one hed have turned it around pretty quxk as well.

Gillespie at least went to the tournament just 2 years before cal took over. Auburn hadn’t made the ncaa tourney in 15 years when pearl came. Barbee’s last full recruiting class was all gone 6 months into them signing. Pearl’s first season we had two walks ons in the regular rotation.

Gillespie had patterson to give to cal. Thats it. Who cares how many years prev they went to the tourney when they sucked ass his last year. Auburns team 13-15 years ago had nothing to do with the players he left bdb

Patterson, Darius Miller, Deandre liggins, and josh harrelson we’re all left by Gillespie no? All 4 are substantially better than anything barbee left

Touche i forgot about liggin and harrelson and wasnt sure what class miller was in. But harrelson and liggins were both lretty shitty thenselves until they got surrounded by the studs cal brought in. Still bcg last year was an nit team(with jodie Meeks as well) before cal brought in the stud frosh.

But ur right i have no clue what barbee left. Crazy how all these cal assistants cant sprinkle that magic developmental sauce on any of their players lol. Cal mest be real hush hush about his developmental tactics lol.

You could literally nit pick multiple UK coaches over the century and they would all have a better career than Auburn basketball. Too funny.

lol right. Auburn didn't even make my top 75 programs of all-time. There are 14 different metrics used in my calculation. They really don't need to be talking smack to Kentucky. Maybe work on schools like Northwestern and Nebraska.

And replace him with who?

Bill Self isn't leaving KU
Mark Few? Cal has been to many more FF's than Mark

The top 5 coaches in the game (K is retiring) is Self, Wright, Cal, Few, Bennett

You want mark few or tony bennett?

Does Jay Wright give you more than Cal? Do you bank on young unproven coaches?

Auburn has won 21 NCAA Tournament games in its history.

In a little over a decade, Calipari has won 31.
But...but...big dick bruce and stuff!!!

He'll disappear from his board faster than the South Carolina fans he was ripping on in another thread as soon as Bruce bounces for greener pastures or gets another show-cause.

Do they have 21 tourney wins? From what I've seen it's only 17, and Cal had more than that in his first 5 years at UK (which includes an NIT year). 😆

Hah. You're right. On this Wikipedia page, it says Auburn's all-time record is 21-11. Looks like it's actually 17-10. Some Auburn fan is trying to give them credit for an additional Final Four run.
