I have no idea. Can you give me one (1) non UK source that says John Feinstein is a blatant liar?
That is not my responsibility. I just know that he has lied about UK.

Well, I wasn’t really interested in the Cleveland State blurb. lolCleveland State if I recall got probation after beating Indiana.
I assume that it is tied to A year on the brink is why I posted that.Well, I wasn’t really interested in the Cleveland State blurb. lol

Oh he is. He said UK cheated and Indiana didn't.Yes it is your responsibility Bert. You called him a liar.
Do you recall the Lexington Herald article mentioning 26 former Kentucky players on record saying they took payments? Seems like that would be one of the bigger off court moments in school history worth recalling.I assume that it is tied to A year on the brink.
I do. It was proven to be not true but I remember the article. I think that that was about 1984 while Joe Hall was the coach. Joe retired in March 1985.Do you recall the Lexington Herald article mentioning 26 former Kentucky players on record saying they took payments? Whaaaat?I used to recruit with Joe B. Hall. He did not have to cheat to get good players.

Spent some time running around Florida and Georgia with Joe.Whaaaat?
Sounds like you were paying 20+ guys to come to UK.Spent some time running around Florida and Georgia with Joe.
Some of us are passionate enough to invest time to help our cause.
I’d say closer to 100%. He uses a lot of numbers. Not much room for bias when you are putting numbers on a spreadsheet.Ha. I like Jon. I’ve had multiple conversations with him via Twitter.
He’s a super knowledgeable guy, but he’s also a super-fan, and that adds a little bias, intentional or not.
If I had to guess, I’d say 95% of what is on that site is true.
Or the NCAA putting them on probation from 1976 to 1978.Do you recall the Lexington Herald article mentioning 26 former Kentucky players on record saying they took payments? Seems like that would be one of the bigger off court moments in school history worth recalling.
Meh, he still claims the 12/29/12 Louisville match-up as a "L" for UK, which is a glaring error. LaughingIf you find an error Jon is quick to remove it.
The Lexington Herald-Leader and their primary UK sports reporter, Jerry Tipton (who has been there since the 80s), slam UK more than any other publication. You would think Tipton is a Louisville fan. I really don't know how he survives in Lexington without getting his tires slashed daily. Not sure how the newspaper survives either, as much as they slam the school/city they represent.Hmmmm. Well played people of Lexington. Well played.
Few non-UK fans understands this dynamic. Most schools home town newspaper are pro that school. Tipton is a piece of shit who hates Kentucky. He takes personal pride in shots at the head coach. The Lexington Herald-Leader got UK investigated by the NCAA based on their lies. The Lexington Herald-Leader and their primary UK sports reporter, Jerry Tipton (who has been there since the 80s), slam UK more than any other publication. Likely what Bert read.
I can’t/won’t validate any of it, but this dude (Jon Scott) is one of the more well known UK basketball “Historians” around.

The theme you sense is that I have closely followed Kentucky basketball for 62 years. I basically read everything written about them or against them. I have missed 8 games since 1963.I’m sensing a theme.
A wonderful guy and a wonderful data base he has.I know Jon, good guy. It's unbelievable the time he's spent in libraries, newspapers, interviewing etc.
