So does the Michigan State Athletic Department. I was a P5 D1 track athlete, everyone at that level knows you have to make sacrifices to achieve the things you want to. At that level that's what separates good from average. If I was the same person as a Big Ten athlete, now, I wouldn't have minded being in a "bubble." My life already basically was. I was just a track athlete. I can't imagine how much more of a bubble it normally is for football and basketball.
The kids are safer together. High risk individuals are safer since a group is already essentially quarantining itself. For most of these kids their sport is one of the highest, if not the highest priority in their lives, so their mental health is better with it than without. Which part is the big monster?
I stayed at school for college hoops myself. Loved it. The kids love it. Better them to be at school than at home. More structure.

I was a huge MJ fan, he was just so much fun to watch. Same thing with Tiger Woods, when he's on, he adds an excitement that nobody else can.
Michael was never boring to watch, every game was exciting.
He didn't want to play in the Champions Classic, because it was in Indianapolis, but that's where the NCAAT is going to be, what's he going to do?
