Agreed. Should’ve been 10 though. You can’t give up a damn 3 at the end when you have a chance to hold for the last shot.
For some reason Self has instructed KU to double the post and help hard on drives which has left KU defense will out of position for rotation and rebounding. Very confusing game strategy from Self that half.
Kentucky is just faster and better with the basketball than Kansas is (so far). This Kentucky team with all their dudes back has the potential to be nasty...so nice to see this new offense.
I hope Kentucky can hold on.
But we both know Self will adjust at the half and Cal won’t.😂
Honestly, this was the first time I've had fun watching Kentucky's offense in six years.

He got his first taste of UK basketball last Monday. Me and the lady went to Rupp for the home opener.
I have a bad feeling about the second half. But that could be the Taco Bell
Shep and Dilly should be fresh for the 2nd half. Those 2 should get the bulk of the minutes. DJ hasn't been able to do anything.
lol, true but...I'm not sure Kentucky needs to change anything beyond forbidding Wagner from chucking up threes. He's been awful.
You just know Kansas is gonna have a run in them out of the gate here. Can we weather the storm? Need some more of that sharp shooting
I like what I see, but don’t believe for a second KU might not come back and win this. UK has not been a second half team for quite a while, and I’m just afraid Cal is going to have them tighten up. One of those situations where I’d be shocked that we won but thrilled, yet not surprised if we don’t pull this out. I’ve seen it too many times before to feel confident.
Edwards needs to wake up. Great half with a pathetic finish. 2 turnovers in the last minute. Dilly needs to be on the court a ton in the 2nd half. He really stresses the defense. Kansas is going to try and slow it down and force feed Dickenson every play.
We scored 48 in the first half and Edwards/Wagner combined for one point. Pretty wild. Hope we keep running in the second half.
Or it could be that we are all traumatized by the last several years of awful basketball.

That’s because Kentucky just hit 9 threes in a half and Adou just played out of his mind. Will be incredibly difficult to replicate. Have to keep pressing the tempo.
He’s been underwhelming so far. But that’s more encouraging than discouraging IMO. We are only going to be better when he gets going. It’s good to know we have other dudes that can step up big time

Cats shot 23 3s that half. Used to take them two full games to hit that mark.
They shot 23. 39% is great but they weren't exactly on fire other than Dilly and Sheppard.
