Not looking to bad. Win tomorrow, IU sits at 11-2. I don't think 12 Big 10 wins is out of the question. For all the injuries; And yet another one(Phinisee), I'm pretty happy with where IU is.

The Big 10 is 1 of the 2 best conferences in the country, 25-6 means you likely won the conference and beat some solid teams in the nonconference. It really depends on who you beat and avoiding bad losses.
I was talking about for IU, that would mean we would only lose 4 more games the rest of the season. That's 18 more Big Ten games and the conference tournament. For IU this year that's a 1 seed.
Meh.....Big 10 has what----7 Top 25 teams? IF, and I doubt they do---but IF, IU were to win 25 games----that gives them 14 Big 10 wins. In all likelihood, that would include wins over MSU(8), UM(5), Nebraska(22), OSU(14), Wisconsin(16), Iowa(21). Plus, Maryland who is 25th in the coaches poll.
25 wins....14 Big 10 wins. With wins already over Butler, Louisville and Marquette.
Thats a damn strong case for a 1-seed. At worse, a 2-seed. Big 10's been really good.

Nevada? Look, if Indiana wins 25 games, with wins over Michigan, MSU, OSU, Wisconsin, Nebraska...coupled with their wins over Butler, UL and Marquette, they'll get a higher seed than Nevada. I'd argue that would give IU a better resume than Gonzaga. And Possibly even Tennessee. Record might not be as good. But the overall resume would be.

I’m just saying I’m not sure a 25-6 Indiana would jump a 29-1 Nevada or a 28-2 Gonzaga or a a 29-1 Kansas etc etc etc. There is potential for a handful of good resumes. I would not be sure of Michigan being a 1 seed with 5 losses.
A 25 win IU team, or a 5 loss UM team, should jump a 29-1 Nevada...Or a 28-2 Gonzaga. The resumes wouldn't even be close. Hell Gonzaga lost to UNC, who you guys manhandled. IU has the same amount of Top 50 wins right now as Gonzaga. Gonzaga doesn't play another Top 50 team the rest of the year. IU has 13 more games vs Top 50 teams. Nevada has ONE Top 50 win. They have two remaining games vs A Top 50 team(Fresno State). MOF, Nevada's projected SOS is 139. Indiana's is 44th. UM's is 68th.
I know the probability is slim. But in reality, it shouldn't be. As I said...the records wouldn't be as good. But IU's and or UM's resume's would be significantly better.

I made that post before the season and before the onslaught of injuries. I would be thrilled with 23-8 at this point, but I think people are going to be really surprised how good Hunter is, and IF he gets back this year he takes Indiana up in talent. I think Indiana wins the BIG or at worst finishes 2nd or 3rd. The biggest thing Indiana is doing right now is winning the close games they always lost under Crean. Imaging they hit March with Davis able to play 25 minutes...Phinisee healthy...Hunter as their 3rd scorer...It will be a team no one wants to play come tournament time. Archie is building a monster in Bloomington, and about to add another 5 start to the group in either Brooks, or Watford.
I doubt Hunter plays this year. Rumor is a medical RS. And that stinks. Because this kid is really good.
I said 22-23 wins. And still, with the injuries, I feel thats where we fall. Could be more. Brutal stretch coming up.
