what record would UK need to get into the NCAA? 13-3 in the SEC would put them them at 14-6. I’m not including the the Texas game either.
Shooting is a legit concern, but I am more worried about how Cal doesn't value the three point shot more than the actual %.
And there aren't fit concerns. Cal loves playing multiple bigs. He is a really good one. He's going to be the main offensive weapon inside next year.

You think that a team that can't spread the floor for a big that wants to be the focal point of an offense is a good fit? Interesting. Have to disagree with that based on common sense.
Is it the best fit in college basketball? No. But Cal loves showcasing bigs. He's going to be the #1 option next year on a team that focuses on posting guys up (whether that's good or not is another question entirely). The spacing will be more than enough for him to succeed.
Both Cal and the team have some figuring out to do. Despite last night's game, I'm still confident that they will.
Sure it is. Your overestimating the SEC. Outside of LSU Bama and Tenn, UK will likely be favored in every game here on out. Maybe not if the play @ mizzou or Arky. not real familiar with their schedule.
They play Tenn twice but might only play LSU and bama once each I’m not sure how it works in cross division scheduling. Fla is the next best team in the east and Uk dog walked them in gainesville. Not trying to shit on UKs win, but Florida misses Johnson terribly and needless to say they aren’t the same team without him.
I don’t think Uk will lose to anyone else except Tenn. then mizzou/LSU/Arky should be pretty much toss ups imo. Then everyone else Uk should be favored over home or away.

According to KenPom, you're dogs against 8 out of your next 14. You're favorites against Auburn, Georgia, Auburn again, Vanderbilt, TAMU, and Florida. That may not be the way the odds makers see it, but this is at best a mediocre team in a mediocre conference.

I just look at the games I assume UK will win, uga twice, txam, vandy, UF, ole miss, auburn, mizzou. That’s 10 conf wins there. Maybe they drop 1-2 of those but rise up and beat LSU or Arky.
I just don’t see a second weekend team in the SEC outside of bama and Tenn.

How you see it playing out? You think UK is on the LSU/Arky level or a tier below with everyone else. At this point hard to argue that Tenn and Bama haven’t set themselves apart as the class of the SEC.
