Top 15 programs have a following. They have a large attendance number. They have gone to more than 3 sweet sixteens. One elite eight. No final four.

I offer that Auburn is not a top 50 program.

I didn’t say all time, and we are definitely better than Florida, Arizona, Ohio State at the moment. We won the SEC last year and won the SEC tourney this year and came into the NCAA tourney ranked 14 and are now in the sweet 16. It’s fairly easy to argue we are a top 15 program right now.

Were actually one of worst basketball schools historically. Not the absolute bottom, but hard to argue before the last two seasons that we were even mid tier.

But he's definitely gotten us to a top 15-20 program RIGHT NOW.
And I am enjoying the hell out of it.

But we have an extremely tough road to win it all. Just our next two games will likely be North Carolina and then Kentucky.

Always good to beat a “soft” school who only concentrates on basketball while we have a top 15 program in basketball, baseball, football, softball etc...

Sorry, I’ve been drinking and really didn’t expect this. To beat Kansas and be mentioned with others in basketball is rarefied air for us.

I love that Auburn is doing good. Hell I love it when any team in the SEC does good. People always put the SEC down but most years we end up with a few teams in the sweet 16 or better.
