Not to hijack the thread but iowa is ranked in the top 20 preseason baseball and have a loaded schedule.
It's awesome. We play Aubirn, Georgia, and a three game series with Ole Miss. On top of a bunch of other good teams not in the SEC.
I love what coach Heller is doing and finally has a team to schedule up and he did. Can't wait for the season

And BTW, it's not like the South doesn't have a massive advantage.
You want to talk Midwest baseball, go look at the HOF. That will tell you everything you need to know.
