- the power 4 conferences are drawing talent from the other conferences
- the portal may be a bit overblown, as not a ton of talent going thru the portal

I was surprised by the high intra-conference transfers. I wonder what drives that…coaches being contacted immediately when a player in their conference that’s they’re more familiar with enters the portal?

There are a dozen or so real impact players who could affect a top 10 roster every year and the rest are guys looking for more PT.

I think the numbers are skewed by the sheer volume of players entering the portal. The number grows every year. It will continue to grow until the failure stories are too hard to ignore for kids.
