ACC Tournament

Duke showed up today, guess they took it seriously as it is going to be the last win of their season.

Duke is going to be a tough out, lot of history at stake for K and those kids, and it’s not like Duke can’t compete with the best in the conference. I know it’s only BC, but just a feeling I have. Will check in tomorrow to see how this comment ages.

Today's Lineup:

Syracuse (-2.5) vs. NC State
Clemson (-9) vs. Miami FL
Duke (-2.5) vs. Louisville
North Carolina (-6.5) vs. Notre Dame

Truth there

Boeheim plays the long game. Will substitute short term success for long term.

But they still have to beat Virginia IMO.

Truthfully is a good matchup for them.
Going to be like watching paint dry

We have absolutely owned Syracuse since they joined the ACC. Our offense slices up their zone. But they're desperate for a signature win and have had success pressing us in the past. It'll be an interesting game tomorrow.

Looking at the last two games you see the difference of the game is at the three point line.
The # of three point attempts by both teams is crazy.
But the winning team shoots 45% and the losing team shoots in the 20's

So...forgive me if I’m missing something, but why has ESPN made Footloose the official ACCT anthem?

Clemson choking against the lowly Miami(FL), are they in the bubble if they lose this game?

Probably not.

However, they are a team that overachieved. Their resume is much more impressive than their team is. I think they are a quick out next week as well.

Hope Clemson doesn't make it and Brownell is sad about it all summer.

Very well said.

Their wins against Maryland and Alabama (in addition to their conference wins) will ensure they make the dance. But their limited ability to score will likely ensure they only spend 1-2 days there.

Clemson is a good but not elite defensive team. They’re an average to poor offensive team. This loss probably puts them on 8/9 line. They can win one game but I’d be shocked if they can beat any of the 1-seeds. Maybe they get to play a 16-seed instead. I will be rooting for that.

Clemson beat Purdue also, which was a really good win. As you said, they're nowhere near the bubble.

Louisville, however, if they lose this game I wouldn't be feeling great about their situation depending on what else happens around the country.
