Two teams won over 300 games in the 2010's. Will any other teams join them?
Kansas
Gonzaga

And look all the championships it got you this decade.
I’d like to say maybe this year is our year, but then I would sound like a cubs fan. As a fan of a team that has been consistently good this decade as well, you just hope that your club is in the mix every year for an opportunity to win it all. We had two final fours and one championship game played this year. I’d like more final fours obviously but if you can tell me that out of 323 teams playing every year my team has a 20% chance of winning the national championship, I’ll take those. Not sure if you were digging on us because we haven’t won one this decade, if so congrats on your championship.

I'm just being a pompous and arrogant asshole. Wins are nice but championships are better. You guys have as good a shot as anyone this year. I also am sick of Kansas because we seem to lose every recruiting battle to you guys.

Ran into arguably the two best teams of the decade: 12 Kentucky and 18 Nova. Them's the breaks.

2010 and 2011 just choked.

Which recruits? I don't remember many high-profile recruiting battles with Virginia lately.

Its okay not to say that every time different periods of basketball get brought up. Just show us what you got in the 2010's----4 final fours and a title---great decade.

He's more robotic than kl. So glad that someone could fill the void.

Im guessing they start in 2010? then
I’m not sure which season the OP started with and I’m not really sure what made me pick the 2009-10 to start with lol but I probably should’ve started with the 2010-11 since that would be the start of this decade and starting with the 2010-11 season Duke came into this season with 264 wins in this decade.

I didn’t tally them. Our mod posted it. I figured duke would be right up there.

I was actually a little bit surprised when I added up Duke’s win totals starting with 2009-10 and also 2010-11. I would’ve thought they would’ve been a little higher than they were but 299 wins starting with the 2009-10 season and 264 wins starting with the 2010-11 season still is pretty dang good.not counting our 9 wins from this season.

It’s actually games played and won during the 2010-2019 decade. Ku won 21 games during the 2009-2010 season after January 1st, 271 games from 2010-11 season through 2019 season, and has won 8 games so far this year. We play 3 more games before it turns 2020 so we can finish with 303 total wins for the decade.

Then UK is at 298 wins since Jan 01, 2000.

We have 4 more games so we can finish at 302.

We finished the decade with 31 NCAAT wins.

Duke has currently won 297 games this decade (January 1 2010 till present). They have 3 more games this year so they can join the 300 club still.

I was about to look up uk. Figured they had to be close as well.
I edited my post. Everyone's NCAAT wins are already in the books.

We had 31 NCAAT wins. We had one NIT season and one 2nd round loss. Even with those years we averaged 3.1 wins per year, which is good for an average of an Elite 8 for an entire decade.

'10 - 3
'11 - 4
'12 - 6
'14 - 5
'15 - 4
'16 - 1
'17 - 3
'18 - 2
'19 - 3

I'm too lazy to look up Duke's and UNC's (any others that would be up there?). Hopefully one of their fans will do it. I'm curious to see.

I like these threads, it takes the opinions right out of the conversation. Just on court results.

I’d figure nova would have some elite numbers for the post season. Unc as well

300 wins in a decade is a remarkable achievement. To be able average 30 wins season for an entire decade is pretty impressive, no matter how you slice it.

I'm guessing Duke and UK are the only other two teams who can still achieve it?

UNC had some down years. So I'm guessing they won't be able to. Arizona maybe? IDK

Duke will have to win all three against:

Wofford
Brown
Boston College

UK will have to win 2 out of:

Georgia Tech
Utah
Ohio St
Louisville

It'll suck so hard to not be a member of the 300 club. :D

If UK and KU wins out, then KU has made up 1 game this past decade in the all time wins race.
