Figured I would get this ready for @dukedevilz and let him take over after this week.

For those not familiar with Pick'Em, @dukedevilz will select 6 games each week. For the team that you have the most confidence in winning that week, assign them a value of 6 points; for the team that you think has the second highest chance of winning that week, give them a value of 5 points, and so forth. Each poster can have their lowest weekly total waived from their cumulative score. And he will include double-point weeks occasionally.

WEEK 1 GAMES
Games chosen this week are all at the end to give people some more time.

North Carolina @ Kansas (Friday)
Tennessee @ Louisville (Saturday)
Baylor @ Arkansas (Saturday) *Neutral Site Game @ Dallas Mavs Arena
Auburn @ Houston (Saturday) *Neutral Site Game @ Houston Rockets Arena
Washington @ Nevada (Saturday)
Michigan @ Wake Forest (Sunday) *Neutral Site Game @ Greensboro Coliseum

I really hope @dukedevilz is in charge of this. I don't trust a Pitt fan to be able to do the math correctly when it comes to tallying up scores. If I'm being honest, I'm surprised he was able to choose exactly 6 games.

how many Pitt fans does it take to change a lightbulb? Answer: none, there's no electricity in shacks down by the river.

Almost missed this because it was pinned and not from the right person! Thank goodness I came looking for it today.

Going out on top. Smart move, Peyton Manning.
Considering the pressure cooker of last season, I didn't want any of y'all to get hurt. Rocky fell apart 2 wks left to go and you were in the fetal position on the last weeks picks. Some thrive under pressure and some don't. I may offer some expert color commentating as the season goes.

This is absolutely a first class opening docket of games. The season is starting with a bang.

Each of you are the best of the best from your region of the country and start with these picks in your quest to be the #1 picker (one to rule them all). I wish each and everyone of the the best.

If @della is out that means we default back to me being the defending champ.

No, it doesn't mean that DePaul. It means the sharpest tool in the shed is no longer a threat and the field has been leveled. You need to watch out for Kevin, he is employing the "della gambit" strategy at the very beginning of the contest. Buy Buy Buy Tennessee.
Kevin doesn't give a crap about rivalries, he is a cold blooded and ruthless player, be careful.

Majored in shapes and colors. Surprisingly, they did teach a little math in a few of the courses but none that needed one of them fancy graphing calculators!

This is true. Just like in UFC or boxing, you aren't the real champion until you defend your belt. If she's not going to defend it, then she's not a champion and her season should be voided from history books.
You have a year to defend the belt. I'm not sure why you seem to be itching for another ass kicking anyway.
