2023-24 Pick'Em, Final Standings!!

Season starts in two days! Who's ready for Pick'Em? Let's go!!!

For those not familiar with Pick'Em, I'll select 6 games each week. For the team that you have the most confidence in winning that week, assign them a value of 6 points; for the team that you think has the second highest chance of winning that week, give them a value of 5 points, and so forth. Each poster can have their lowest weekly total waived from their cumulative score. And I'll include double-point weeks occasionally.

As FSU has ascended in football my attention in November, December, and January has been more and more diverted. And my place in the standings has gotten worse and worse lol.

FSU sucking in hoops last year didn’t help either.

your team being bad is no excuse for doing poorly in this event. See last year's amazing championship run by @WeAreDePaul for reference.

Ditto! Last winter/spring was tough too, because my dad was sick. He has passed now, which of course sucks but is better than watching him suffer.

I’ll be around more. The Vols should be exciting to watch this year!

I'll acknowledge your victory, but still kind of feel like I got robbed. If the ref properly awarded the timeout to Memphis, I would have won the league last year.

I'm saddened by the loss of your dad. I also hope FSU rises up.

I am super jazzed about the Vols. Our first test is Wisconsin Friday and I can't wait.

don't follow football.

But this year I started to dip my toes into it a bit. Started with Colorado, but they fell off after a few games. Then I went to just picking one game to watch each weekend. Fell off of that now that NBA and NHL have started.


My college BF's daughter goes to FSU so I guess I'm rooting for you guys this year.
