2011-2012 First champions classic

2012 was special UK and KU started us off and finished in the title game
2013 was the least special year and UK fans really were disappointed.
2014 was wacky. All 4 teams were down heading into the tourney and UK salvaged it.

It is great how relatively close it's been. Some wonder why MSU, but they have a winning record against KU, who has a winning record against Duke, who has a winning record against UK.

I would probably be UCLA and like Villanova. I don’t think they would do 2 ACC teams. Would make the rotations weird.

Would never happen while the CBS Sports Classic (UK, UNC, UCLA, OSU) is still going on, which goes through at least next season. And as others have mentioned, there wouldn't be multiple teams from the same conference. It needs to just be a mini tournament every year. Keep the rotations the same and have the winners play each other and losers play each other every year. Doubt anyone would agree to it though, as 1 of the 4 would be starting the season off with 2 losses.

CBS Sports Classic could use some work.

You could have both UNC and Duke if you really wanted. It’s rare, but conference teams can play each other out of conference early in the season. It’s typically in early season tournaments and the like. I don’t think they’d intentionally schedule it though, so it won’t happen.
