Certainly hope so. Seriously, though, lack of an NC is a gaping hole on an otherwise great historical resume for Illinois, so I’m pretty desperate for one.

Memphis hasn’t played anybody but they looked pretty salty to me. That much talent/athleticism + Larry Brown could be problematic.

Gonzaga, Texas, Purdue, and Illinois are probably the top four contenders for teams without any NCs.

But, teams that have won... UCLA, Kansas, Michigan, Duke, Kentucky, Villanova, Baylor. I like the odds of the title team being one of these 7 schools.
