Growing up back in the day, we made this joke about Nickelodeon was for common folk, while Disney was for the richer kids. Had to have a moving satellite to get Disney, while Nickelodeon kids got it with stolen cable.
I’m honestly not sure why I didn’t watch Disney. I had the channel, just always watched Cartoon Network and Nick instead.
Our cartoons were so good.

I hadn't even heard of Recess, rocko and angry beavers prior to this thread.
I initially thought OP was talking about recess in school and thought "who watched".
Rocko's Modern Life was probably my favorite tbh. You should definitely watch it if you want some nostalgia from cartoons. Angry Beavers was pretty good as well.
Pretty sure Pepperanne came on right before Recess.
Thanks but no. You know how you described today's cartoons at baby shark etc. that's your cartoons to me. No offense, I'm sure they're great. Outside of being stoned and watching Ren and Stimpy, I've not watched a single episode of any of those you listed.

TV shows Nickelodeon kills hands down, but they cant stand the test of time like the Classic Disney movies.

I can’t believe spongebob is still rolling. Making a run at the simpsons. If I was the voice of spongebob I’d be so damned high maintenance by now someone would probably have murdered me. And I’d demand like 50k an episode.
Could you even imagine being set for life just because your voice is so damn annoying.
And for the record idc if spongebob runs another 50 years, Hank Azeria (sp?) will always be the man when it comes to cartoon voices.
