Think you are looking a little too deep into it. Obviously no one hates college kids, but on the court tendencies or cockiness can deter you from cheering for them in a neutral game.
Fans don't interact with players. They interact with other fans. One can make observations on coaches behavior or a player that is particularly arrogant or cocky and not like them.
You can watch a player or team on TV, or live, and notice tendencies and how they react to things. Fans definitely push your bias but lets not act like players or teams can't, either. You agree with me, or else you wouldn't have made this thread.

Not everyone though, which is what separates us from you.
And the others absolutely hate us because as I've always said, no matter how many times they beat us.....................Iowa > their team.
Good point. I guess i was more in the lane of i obv dislike uk but i dont really think any of your players have been super unlikable since i guess demarcus cousins(player not team). I thought last years uk team was super likable kids as well, but its hard to hate on kids u feel sorry for.
Still though if i hated on every cocky kid or every kid who flexed after making a play Id hate damn near every player in america. I dislike dirty players wayyyyy more than the cocky ones.
I. Cant dislike timmy bc i say his name in my head like cartman saying timme on southpark.
Is this one of those things where if the guy played for your team ud absolutely love him but when he plays for someone else u hate him? I can get down with that; thought the same thing both ways a million times. Trez harrell is a good example. Absolutely loved the dude, but i can see where opposing fans could have really disliked him.
