Some should have more titles than they have, others have exactly the right amount.
10 years qualifies for a while.I’m going with Cal. His seat is getting room temperature.
Imagine KU fans. It’s been ten years after this season since our last title. Cal should have more than one by now anyways.
He should focus more on our team than cameo's on Showtime. It’s been ten years after this season since our last title. Cal should have more than one by now anyways.
Bill should have more due to his coaching ability. Not necessarily the talent. He doesn’t have his pick of the litter like K and Calipari.Imagine KU fans.
We’ve been told that he has the dominant team in the field. And he is in his 60s, after all. Could be now or never. Title or bust! Why is Pearl on the list? If he wins the title it’s just icing on the cake.
In all seriousness, it’s pretty sad that K and Calipari combine for zero final fours since 2015. Two HOF coaches who can get virtually any player they want. If a few of those teams needed a vet or two, that’s on them. They certainly could’ve had them.It has to be Cal. If you get that much talent, you should win a title every six to eight years
Do you not think Self is on on their level? HOF, Blue blood coach etc.In all seriousness, it’s pretty sad that K and Calipari combine for zero final fours since 2015. Imagine coaching for decades and having less than Ollie.I mean Kevin Ollie has the same amount of natties as self and calipari. As arrogant as those fanbases are you would expect more
I mean if Bruce Pearl could have coached at a place where the previous coach won 3 national titles and left him a very good roster he would probably have one as well. He would maintained it also.Imagine coaching for decades and having less than Ollie.
Hypotheticals are fun.I mean if Bruce Pearl could have coached at a place where the previous coach won 3 national titles and left him a very good roster he would probably have one as well. He would maintained it also.
Didn’t uconn basically cost cal two more natty’s? 2011 and 2014Imagine coaching for decades and having less than Ollie.
Yep. Not only Cal but all the other coaches as well on those years.Didn’t uconn basically cost cal two more natty’s? 2011 and 2014
Yeah, crazy to think Self, Cal & K only have ONE final four since start of 2016 season- and KU got crushed that game.Do you not think Self is on on their level? HOF, Blue blood coach etc.
He's got a '18 final four, but how long has he been at KU now?
As arrogant as you are, I'd expect more than one decent tourney run in your program's history.I mean Kevin Ollie has the same amount of natties as self and calipari. As arrogant as those fanbases are you would expect more
As a coach, sure.Do you not think Self is on on their level? HOF, Blue blood coach etc.
He's got a '18 final four, but how long has he been at KU now?
So you give Self a pass for his recruiting? As a coach, sure.
But if one guy rarely gets the players he wants and the next guy gets almost every player he wants...who should you expect more from?
So you give Self a pass for his recruiting?
He's not winning it all with his recruiting either.
Imagine not having to imagine and knowing instead.Even if the NCAA trouble is partially his fault, it's still a lot to overcome. It's like going to battle with an arm tied behind his back.
I still think he should have more titles. He's also had some pretty shitty luck. Imagine if they had cancelled the 2012 tourney.
No---that would be Higgins. Keep up, brother..Didn’t uconn basically cost cal two more natty’s? 2011 and 2014
I have to agree with this..I mean if Bruce Pearl could have coached at a place where the previous coach won 3 national titles and left him a very good roster he would probably have one as well. He would maintained it also.
I don't think it's that crazy on Self's part. The recruiting struggles have been real. They've missed on seemingly 95% of their top targets over the last several years. They did manage to put together a good '22 class. We'll see how that pans out.Yeah, crazy to think Self, Cal & K only have ONE final four since start of 2016 season- and KU got crushed that game.
Agree....Could be he gets that first one, and then all the suddden, dude goes on Jay Wright on us.Few is an odd one to me. I either see him never winning or winning multiple in a five year span. I also don't know if he will get a better chance to start that than this year.
I'd put Mark Few on the top of that list. He's been knocking on the door for awhile.
