To be honest, UK has no business making the tournament this year. This roster is built out of secondary players from mostly mid major programs.
It’s the least amount of talent in the top 25, Pope is the reason this team is doing so well. There aren't too many coaches out there that would win with this roster. Bruce Pearl wouldn't. This isn’t a roster that could play his style of basketball.
I really don't care, but go ahead and make yourself feel better by making serious accusations without a single bit of proof.

Right, but Pearl has been coaching Broome for three years, this is year #1 for these players under Pope and he's only getting most of them for this year, Butler, Williams, Carr, Jaxson and Almonor are gone after this year.

College basketball is not just about talent. Auburn is 25-2 with zero first round picks. I will take your current UK squad over Cals last 3 teams at kentucky. You have experienced dudes that play well together. My point was that pearl wouls have been much better off in 2014 with the portal than having to bring back crap.

Kentucky had to cheat in the past, but that all stopped when they brought in Saint Pitino and later St Calipari. Instead of succumbing to the temptation of suitcases full of cash, the nation’s top talents got in line to play for Calipari for free. Reaching the NBA was the only reward they needed, and only Cal’s coaching acumen could get them there.

I didn't think he was a good game coach at LSU. Loved that he could get good players to accept his cash, but like a lot of those guys they end up lacking in the Xs and Os dept.

On all accounts, Cal has been a fantastic ambassador off the court for whichever program he has represented. He has led so many initiatives to better communities, provide relief for those in need, raise millions of dollars across his career for those destroyed by tragedies, and personally donate large sums of money to those reeling and in need.
I am sure Pearl has done many similar things as well.

Bruce Pearl is the same exact person in front of microphone as he is in private. Cal is not. Most basketball people would agree with this.

But also, what was in that emory envelope, a thousand bucks? I think we can agree that shouldn't get you the death penalty, but the NCAA has their own set of rules.
All we can do is speculate about that cash. But either way, having strippers perform at a family function, is one of the oddest things a respected program has ever done.
But you really don't want to get into a transgression pissing contest with anyone not named Louisville, or Bruce Pearl, when you're a KU fan.
