What's it gonna take to save UL,Duke and IU?

I know it’s not always so simple with NIL money and homes and snacks provided for players like Zion. That said, I think Scheyer is operating on a window of momentum that closes, or at least starts to quickly close, at the conclusion of next year.

Recruiting has been off the charts, fan engagement and booster involvement hasn’t taken a hit, and there is a lot of exciting off the court news coming from Durham. I think Scheyer has to do something in these next two years or else risk a rapid shifting of the winds where everything starts getting substantially more difficult. When I say something, I don’t mean championship or bust. In my mind, I think we need to see an Elite Eight in these next two years before the spotlight, which Duke benefits from greatly, grows bored with us.

If Scheyer were to go to back-to-back S16’s in these next two years, I believe he would 1000% keep his job. The job would start to look quite different, though. I have faith it’ll happen, though - I’d say I’m 70/30 he gets Duke where they need to be in the short term.

Right now just a few good guards away. My main concern with Woodson is his stubbornness and ability to recruit guards.

Louisville needs to hire a coach as far away from the Calipari coaching tree as possible, then we will be back.
yea maybe get a coach from the same tree that Mack came from since that worked out so well😂

He has no idea how to manage a CBB bench. His substitution patterns are worse then those of CTC.

His offense will not allow him to recruit a good/elite 2-guard to Indiana. His offense is bad, tbh. JHS/TJD hid a ton of deficiencies..As you said----stubborn. He is not gonna change. And therefore, nor will IU. Will be a meh, middle of the pack B10 program.

Is what it is.

Nor reason to always take things "persona"---Or as a dig. Look Cals coaching tree aint exactly good, my friend.

Mack wasn't bad.....Would have had 2 NCAAT(COVID)---and his second UL team was pretty damn good.

I'm not willing to go that far.

As in? His offense? Its terrible. His bench management? Its terrible. Lack of shooting guards? Terrible. His offense is built arounf NBA style---high PNR, looking for switches, dribble mis-matchs. Nothing ran for shooters. Ever wonder why Woody has not been able to land a good, high level/elite 2-guard----but seemingly always in the running for PG's/Bigs?

Yeah....No shooter worth his salt is gonna come here.
