What team do you dislike the most?

Everyone has fandoms for whatever inherited reasons, but what team have you really grew to dislike?

Crushing loses, fan bases that grind your gears, coaches you can't stand?

Bandwagon SEC fans come to mind first. I like their enthusiasm, just skeptical it'll last.

Do the ten DePaul basketball fans and 50 or so NIU football fans get together on a regular basis to circle jerk over their common hatred of the Illini?
For schools that rarely, if ever, play those two fan bases expend an inordinate amount of energy obsessing about what happens in Champaign.

That's just not true. We love having the SEC be stronger. Its when other teams have a short run where they are relevant and then want to pump their chests out like big boys. Its happened before and continues to happen. First South Carolina, then Tennessee, now you guys. That's not to say you all can't stay relevant longer than a few years, but that is yet to be decided. Those other guys thought they would be around longer too.

By all means, though. A stronger SEC is always good for Kentucky.

Florida won back to back basketball national titles and you guys literally acted like complete babies over it. You only want the SEC being stronger to help your resume. You don’t want anyone getting any spotlight though away from Kentucky. It literally kills you guys. Kentucky greatly benefited from sec schools only caring about for football more many years. You guys don’t like it that other athletic departments with the same or more money than UK has are now putting some towards basketball.

Well I was 15 when they last won a title so I can't speak on that. Seems more made up than anything IMO.

And sorry to burst your bubble, but it does not matter how good other SEC schools are. Kentucky will always be talked about more with the spotlight shined right on us. You have no proof or evidence that UK wants SEC schools to suck other than the occasional rafters poster. And if you want to start judging fan bases by their homers on an internet message board, you have a shorter sight of reality than I thought.

None of you guys literally gave a crap about basketball. It would still be a dumpster fire if Greg Sankey hadn't given you the mandate to make it better. You had no choice lmao.

Hey we're a spoiled and passionate bunch. We've been successful for a very, very long time. And we demand it. But you're dead wrong, we love the competition. We've always played very strong ooc schedules, with the exception of this year. We as fans love playing in the spotlight with the other top tier programs.

If we hate you, take it as a compliment. It means you're relevant. I can tell you we really dislike you, but not your program. So you're not even on the big boys radar outside of this year.

It must really gripe you that we lost to you, yet the computer rankings have us higher ranked than you guys. And the eye test folks think we're better than you. You know why we lost and they know why we lost. Stuff happens. We probably have another national championship banner if not for an injury.

We're just starting to hit our stride. You guys have peaked. Your fun stops in the post season....

  • IU obviously - It's more about their fanbase than their team. I almost feel sorry for their team but then their fans bring me back to reality with their desperate attempts to live in the distant past. My hatred started with their embrace of the bully Bob Knight. Hell of a coach...disgusting person.
  • MSU - Mostly because Izzo is a whiny little bitch who complains to the refs more than any other in college basketball. He's also a hypocrite for talking up "family" while allowing some disgusting behavior to go unpunished (Keith Appling anyone)
  • Notre Dame - There is no real reason to hate ND basketball (except maybe Digger refusing to play us) but my hatred to ND football is so strong, it seeps into all other sports.

When you're not fellating Pearl or predicting dynasties for Auburn, you're talking shit on every other program in the country. Just look at your recent threads. The list is literally nothing but you taking turns trashing Kentucky, Calipari, Purdue, Gonzaga, Houston, Boeheim, Hubert Davis, Chet Holmgren, on and on.

It's hilarious that you can type some of this stuff with a straight face. You'd be way less annoying if you quit denying that you're the ultimate homer/hater and just embraced it.
