I went to NOLA for the Sugar Bowl a few years ago planning to get drunk and troll Virginia Tech fans all week on Bourbon Street. The VaTech fans were just too damn nice. I'm talking out of this world nice. All of them.

Hail: "Virginia Tech sucks."
VaTech fan: "Yeah, we usually aren't very good so this year has been exciting."

Hail: "How do you feel about traveling so far to watch your team lose?"
VaTech fan: "So far it's been a blast getting to meet so many Michigan fans."

Hail: "What the **** is a Hokie?"
VaTech fan: "Hahaha, good question. It originates from yadadadada."

Never knew Virginia was actually in Canada.

In the early 2000s a friend and I were in KC, Mo just a couple days after a huge ice storm. Ice was still everywhere - streets and sidewalks still slick. We watched an older lady being escorted to her car by these two younger guys (early 20s) she had a bag and her purse, and they each took an arm and slid her (basically) to her car. They, in Tigers apparel, she with her bright red and blue scarf and Kansas stocking cap.
They did it with a smile on their faces, and you could tell she greatly appreciated it.

I watched a handful of Kansas fans stand and applaud Buddy Hield after a 40+ point, 3OT thriller in AFH... 15-20 minutes after the game and his live interview on ESPN had ended.
