Mehhhh its not like rivals has a monopoly on message boards. Ur right it is a shame the mods didnt just man up and ban him, but i dont lose much sleep at night worrying about how much action louisvilles rivals message board gets, or any for that matter. Its a shame your board went downhill because of one poster. He single handily made your board a ghost town.
I think someone didn't get enough praise at home when he was growing up.
You joined a conversation you aren’t a part of just to take a personal dig at me?
I always love Hail making polls. He intentionally biases them and then expects fair conclusions to be drawn.
Just go with the flow. Now they get go at it in two different threads about the same topic.
Nah, he goes running to the polls when I fvck with him too much. It's what he does when he can't best me alone. I already showed my hand, and he still did it.
Sure go with that
Your home board died and ACC threads flop. I definitely don’t take offense to what you consider good forum banter.
Thank you, Nostradumbass.
Rough morning?
The conversation was about Frazier being better than Brooks. The conversation was specifically about the odds of a freshman guard coming in and being better than Eli Brooks was last year. So we were looking at freshman seasons from PGs in the past compared to Brooks to see how common it is.
The conversation was about Frazier being better than Brooks.
You took it off the rails because you didn’t have a good argument.
Brooks isn’t as good as Frazier.Bored? We’ve already gone over this.
Brooks isn’t as good as Frazier.
Would a comparison of Frazier’s senior stats versus Brooks’ freshman stats help make my argument? Lol
Despite putting a second guy in the lineup with a low release, Bryce McGowens could play either the 1 or 2 depending on how you want to shift the lineup. Just no excuse to put a role player on this type of team.
You think Bryce McGowans as a freshman is better than a 5th year Brooks or Frazier? I doubt either of us would take that swap this year.
That's a different issue than the one we're discussing. Our teams need that leadership and defense on the perimeter. The team we're discussing would not need that as much.
How many freshman guards have come in and had a better freshman season than Brooks did last year? The only Michigan one I can think is Trey Burke. Stauskas? Probably not. Close (Stauskas better offensively, Eli way better defense). Walton? No. Irvin? No. Simpson? No. Poole? No. Jackson? No. Bufkin and Collins probably not.
Just don’t see many freshman guards coming in and putting up an efficient 10/3/3 while playing top tier defense.
Ayo Dosunmu: 13.8 ppg, 3.3 apg, 4 rpg, 35.2% 3P%, 24.2 USG
Andre Curbelo: 9.1 ppg, 4.2 apg, 4 rpg, 16.1% 3P%, 24.9 USG
Trent Frazier: 12.5 ppg, 3.1 apg, 1.8 rpg, 34.7% 3P%, 26.3 USG
vs
Eli Brooks: 9.5 ppg, 3.1 apg, 3.1 rpg, 39.6% 3P%, 16.2 USG
All had better or similar freshman seasons to Eli Brooks had last year.
Yes no even
I’m still laughing at your original premise of having Brooks over Frazier. This is where the freshman discussion came from (since you didn’t go back to look when I let you know yesterday):
I’m still laughing at your original premise of having Brooks over Frazier.
I could care less what their freshman stats were. Although I find it a funny sidebar
We agree that for that type of role we’d rather have the upperclassmen that’s proven it already.I understand that. But we were having a separate conversation about how often freshmen guards come in and produce at the level of a senior Frazier/senior Brooks. I’d personally rather have Frazier and Brooks than McGowens. That’s what started the comparison between freshman Frazier and senior Brooks.
