I love this rivalry. Everything about it. These games are always defining moments for both teams. That said,
I think Duke wins by quite a lot.
Duke - 92
UNC - 75
I think it will be a wider margin, but then I would just get tagged as a bigger homer than I already am

That's what I'm hoping. Duke teams in years past would do this, will say a lot about this year's team if they don't.
I know Carolina is coming off a big win, but big picture, they're coming off a rough stretch and seemed to have clicked a little since the second half of the Clemson game. I'm hoping that evens out the effect of Duke coming off a really bad loss, but I also realize Duke is significantly more talented inside and I think at the end of the day, duke probably wins this game 4/5 times.
I think this is fair. Whatever the record is, whoever is on the roster, what were the results of the prior game, any of it just doesn't matter. This matchup is a different beast.

Yup because this team isn’t nearly as good as last years. If we get to the sweet 16 IMO that’s a good year considering we been to 2 straight final 4’s.
We all know you guys will roll another one out of the lab next year who will be similar yet have his own particular style. Let's look at the list:

If they had played the way they had been playing for the previous month before the second half of the Clemson game, it would not have been a 31 point win. That's all I'm saying... they played much better basketball than they had been playing recently. The opponent is certainly partially to thank for that. Again, big picture, we are still coming off a terrible stretch (with one good game separating us from the Duke game), just like Duke is coming off a terrible loss, and I'm hoping we still come out Thursday with the mentality of a team coming off a terrible loss also. Either way, Duke should probably win the game, but Carolina is certainly capable of winning. That's why I pegged it as Duke probably wins 4 out of 5 of this exact game under these exact circumstances.

No. The bitch move is to try and pad your personal stats when you have the ball and a double digit lead with 14 seconds left. Got what he got and then laid there like a little bitch.
Duke is more talented. I'm not convinced they're the much better team, though. I do feel if Duke plays well then they probably don't get beat in this one....but who knows with this group what team is going to show up. A month ago I would have had the confidence that Grayson plays well....that's a little shaky right now. I do feel Berry will ball well tomorrow night, which bodes well for the baby-bluers.
UNC will need to make outside shots, IMO. If they do that, then they will have a chance late, IMO. I would say Duke is favored like UNC was favored two years (Luke and Grayson) or six years ago (Rivers) in Chapel Hill. If the Heels can stick around for 35 minutes they get a chance to take one. Being that it's at home gives them even a greater chance.
For the last few years, it seems Duke has gotten the breaks or hit the shots late to win....I can't help but think 'what goes around, comes around' will be in play at some point. Hopefully not tomorrow night.
My guess is Duke 85, UNC 79....and hopefully no injuries to either side.
