I just got home and had to go to St. Louis today. Haven't watched the game yet, but GG.

No, this is our third year in a row. If we win the next one it will be our biggest.
That will be a fun game to watch for me because, like some of us were discussing (blue blood thread, can't remember) in the other thread, Houston/Purdue or UT doesn't affect all-time numbers. It'll be great if someone other than Duke wins it all.
Duke of course will pull them one championship closer.

Do you keep watching the tournament after Ky is gone? I am guessing you probably do. I can't do it. Once Duke is gone, I'm done. Too pissed and no interest in watching other teams celebrate.

I still haven't watched the UK/UT game, but I will. Drove to St. Louis to pick up parts and been at work finishing a car.

Yup this is a STACKED elite eight. Literally the lowest kenpom rated team in the elite 8 is 9 lmao.
Yeah this years Champion wont get it cheap. Wonder when the last time we had an elite 8 this strong? Has it been very recent?
The one I remember was 2009 I think.
Here's a sweet 16 comparison, but I'd imagine the elite 8 will push this year into uncharted chalk territory.

I have Duke - Florida in the finals, but it could end up about any combination really.
I'd normally be confident in TN in these games but I was pessimistic about this one after UK's offense did so well the first 2 times. I didn't think we'd have a good gameplan but they did and executed well.
I thought when Pope was hired and had a bare roster he would be good enough to make the tourney but if you told me the SEC was this legit I maybe wouldn't have believed it, but they had a lot of great wins and a great season for a year 1 all things considered. It's a shame they had so many injuries

I’m not upset at all. I was out with somebody and casually watching the game on the TV at the restaurant. I think UK over achieved this season, so to get as far as they did was nice to see. No shame in losing to Tennessee, they were a good team from the beginning of the season, ranked highly.
SCAR isn't elite, Sweet or 32 and couldn't make the NIT, so they got to sit in Columbia and watch their team get swept by the Vols this weekend.
Do you have to build a fire to keep those two banner warm in winter? Why does SCAR suck so bad and did that influence to personally carry on that tradition thru life?
