UK fans. How much you spending on NIL....

I think Lowe will be a net equal with Butler.
Quaintance is a huge upgrade at the 4/5
Kam Williams is a better all around player than Brea
Dioubate is a big rebounding/defensive/toughness upgrade over Carr, not as skilled in the paint, but Pope grabbed Jelavic for that.
Denzel Aberdeen is every bit as good, or better than Robinson.
Then you have Moreno and Jasper Johnson, 5* guys. I expect Jasper to be a force at the 1 and 2 by conference play.
Oweh is going to make a jump, I think he'll be a 1st team SEC guy and then there is Garrison and Chandler, both guys should be so much better.
Retaining players is a new thing for UK fans, it's like we hit the lottery

I don't think outside shooting will be as good, but I believe tjis team will be better at every other aspect of the game, but I certainly won't make any guarantees.

Robinson shot 46% from 3 in SEC play on 7.5 attempts a game before the injury. Aberdeen was a good backup guard for Florida. Saying he's an upgrade as of now is nonsense.

Not sure I'd put any SEC team in the preseason top 5. But, we could easily see 4 in the top 15 / 6 in the top 25. The gap between 1 and 5 isn't that large. Though, as often is the case, I'm sure one team will emerge as nationally elite (i.e. in contention for a 1 seed).

I like Auburn. I think Pettiford is a SEC POY candidate - and Keyshawn Hall could easily be a top 10 player in the league. I also really like this D2 kid they picked up, Elyjah Freeman. Not sure what that transition will look like for him, but he really pops on video; he has NBA athleticism and shot 46% from 3.

I could be wrong but I'm not high on Hall, like at all. I think the numbers look a lot better than the impact actually is. This is also like his 7th/8th school in as many yearsincluding high school. Big red flag imo

Have you seen Hall play much? His defense leaves something to be desired, but that dude can score.

Yeah. He's a good volume scorer. I'm not sure he's good enough to be the guy like he's getting paid to be at Auburn, unless he takes a big step elsewhere. Said that on the homeboard when he first entered the portal too.

when he goes for 20 plus on UK in Auburn next season we will bump this. kentucky doesnt play defense anymore so he wont have an issue scoring. I dont worry about Hall scoring. Unlike pope, Pearl does not tolerate bad defense so he will have to improve there

What a weird response lol. He might be great. I was just posting my thoughts on him. It didn't matter that he was going to Auburn. I thought that before he committed.

Good to see your UK hate lives rent free tho. Still remember you spazzing over Cal multiple times lmao

He will score. Can he play good enough defense though? Thats the question. Cal js largely responsible for Auburn hiring Tony Barbee. Fvck that guy

He blames Cal, but he is just jealous of UK.

Yeah but in the early 1900’s Kentucky won four NCAA championships, even though the NIT was the top tournament.
Early 1900s?

The NCAA Tournament began in 1939. UK won its first in 1948. Where do you get early 1900s from? UK won 2 NITs as well. So what is your point?

yes 2 more than UK in relevant period of time
You mean your cherry-picked, convenient timeframe.

If you don't own the ALL-TIME numbers, you don't own shit. For example... UK vs Auburn. The series stands at 98-24 and AU certainly isn't on the winning side.

Then there's 8-0 in national Titles, and even 2-0 in NIT titles. I could go on, but I ain't got all day.

Aberdeen played important minutes for Florida in the title game, he’s a better all around player. If Jaxson wasn’t hitting 3's, he would pout and give you nothing.
Aberdeen is the better player overall. College basketball isn’t just about who can hit more 3's.

again not relevant to now at all. Dominating when only white people could play is cute though

LOL, compare what UK did from the 2009/10 season up to the 2019/20 season to any 10 year period in Auburn basketball OR football.

Timeframing sucks, doesn't it?
again last 10 years is all that matters right now and UK has been a middle of the pack SEC team

Every school in the country had the same opportunities, but you're still wrong.

I hate to tell you this, but it wasn't just white dudes playing ball in 78, or in the 90's, or from 2010-2020.

UK played in 3 straight title games from 96-98 and won 2 of them.

UK went to Final 4's in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015, has Auburn ever had runs close to those?

Tell you what, I'll even let you combine Auburn and Indiana, football AND basketball and you STILL can't match what UK has done.

All that matters to who? You? Because of some sorta weird swell up you got going on? Lame.

Even though Auburn has been to a couple FF's the last 6 years, UK has still owned your asses.

nothing since 2015. noted*

Matters to what or whom?

Nobody cares about Auburn's 2019 snd 2025 FFs except Auburn fans. It means absolutely nothing to the rest of college basketball, recruiting, or potentially winning a title in the future. Nothing.

For a "middle of the pack SEC team" like UK, you sure do focus an inordinate amount of time on 10 years of the school's history. Seems pretty relevant to you.

Oh, so in your ******ed world, final 4's are all that matters?
Well, at UK, we only count titles and Auburn has zero, no matter what timeframe you try to use.
So what, Auburn won their region twice in their history, but they have zero titles and zero title game appearances.
Now is the time where you should put your Indiana hat on and ride that out for a while.

5 sec titles matter as well. Kentucky has like 1 in that time period?

You don't think recent success matters to recruits?

It definitely matters to the shoe companies steering them.

How many national titles does Auburn have?

How many total SEC league titoes does Auburn have?

How many SEC tournament titles does Auburn have?

Timeframing is for chumps and you continue to do it and you just look so bad on the process.

Meh, today's kids care about money, it's why you see players, like Dent, go to UCLA and several other going to Washington. It’s about money.
Heck, look at Aberdeen, Florida just won a title, he was slated to be a starter in 25/26, he went where the money was better.
