Just saw a short series called adolescence. Hard to watch as made me question if I did the right things for my kids. I guess we do the best we know how but hindsight is a cruel lesson

Show was incredible. Child actor who played Jamie was so freaking good. Loved it!
What did you like about it? Honestly, I felt this season was a noticeable step down from last season. Way too many story lines went nowhere and were never explained. Still a top tier show, but dipped IMO.
Loved the convo between innie mark and outie mark with the video camera. Marching band scene was iconic. Seeing Gemma reunite with outie Mark was emotional. Season 1 finale was significantly better but I thought Season 2 overall was still excellent. Milkshake was my favorite part of Season 2.
Agree with all that. Those were great scenes. Loved the marching band scene.
Wasn't sure about The Studio due to the ratings, but I trust this thread more than any metrics. You all like what I like.
I did, too. Went back to it recently because so many think it's been an amazing show. Had I not heard this from so many would have given up after 1-2. Didn't care for it. Made it to episode 5 and if it does not get better soon I'll have to call it quits.
Anybody play Atomfall? I got a few hours in and ran into a bug where your game crashes when you throw a molotov at an enemy. Only lost like 20 minutes of progress but it annoyed me. Not going to start it back up until that's patched. But I was having fun with it up until that point.

Started watching the new Daredevil reboot. 2 eps in and loving it. Wasn't a fan of the first 3 seasons on Netflix. Thought it was bloated and found Murdock/Daredevil boring. Hated Foggy Nelson and Karen Page to the point where I started skipping their scenes. Best part of the show was the other characters like Kingpin, Punisher, Elecktra etc.
But, so far loving the reboot. They sold me in the first ep when they did something major that made me so happy. Felt like they did it just for me.

I don't know how you didn't like the first 3 seasons on Netflix but this iteration (after the beginning of episode 1) goes slow burn for a bit which is why they released 2 episodes last week. I THINK things are about to take off.
Do you all like any reality shows? Dating, game, drama?

It was the experience of a lifetime. Didn't get any poon on the boat, but did kiss one girl. She then kissed another dude so I had her voted off at the next vote. I was wielding that kind of power on the show. I did end up sleeping with the girl who won it, but that was 5 years after teh show aired.
But, it was all good cause for a solid 2 years after the show aired I was famous and has groupies. Got a lot of action. My buddies used to get laid every weekend just from being my friend. They were living off the crumbs and getting fat in the process.
For current shows, my favorites are Traitors and Survivor. Watch a few others as well. Do some dating shows and also cooking shows.
I brought this up because I'm currently watching Million Dollar Secret on Netflix at work and remembered you were on a show.
It's alright. like most, I like the gold shows/treasure hunting, Like the amazing race, watch UK's version of The Apprentice with Lord Sugar and Great British Bake Off which is another UK show. Also like US and Australia's version of Shark Tank. Easy shows to watch at work.
McBeast games on Prime was ok. Also the IRL version of Squid Games.
*Million Dollar Secret has a lot in common with Traitors.
I thought MrBeast game was terrible. Basically every game was a variation of the same game. And I absolutely hate the moralizing that was non stop on the show. Hate that the show leaned into that so much. Awful cast, awful concept and awful execution.
I'm gonna try Million Dollar Secret.
You should check out Traiters on Peacock. Best of all of them. And there's a USA/Britain/Australia version all available with multiple seasons.
I've watched all three versions of Traitors.
I enjoy watching shows from other countries.
Even if its show, the fact that they made the major change in ep 1 already makes the show so much better for me.
The thing that drove me nuts about the Netflix show wa Foggy and Karen. They ruined the show for me. Literally crying in just about every scene they were in. Got to the point where I was fast forwarding through their scenes. Also, the 13 ep season was WAY too long and had too much bloat and filler. For me it was a mid tier show at best.
I thought Jessica Jones and to a lesser extent Punisher were the only good shows they had in that stable. Cage, Defenders, Iron Fist were all terrible. Daredevil better than those, but still not good.
Australia has far and away the best reality shows. It's all because they have the best casts. Unlike here, those people never take it personally and know that they are playing a game. You stab someone in the back in Australia they turn around and laugh and say good job you got me. Aussie Survivor is amazing, but hard to find now. Used to be on Paramount.
Agree on the Australian shows. They used to have an Apprentice but apparently they stopped that but still have a few I still watch.
I have never watched Survivor, but I can name a host of shows that are right up there that the wife and I enjoy separately. She loved Next top Model, Project Runway and such, but we still watch Masterchef, My Kitchen Rules. We also watch New Zealand's My Kitchen Rules. We could never get into UK's or US versions.
TV is so bad here during the summer we put our YoutubeTV account on hold until college football starts and fall season of shows pick back up. I barely watch any tv during the summer. Watch I do watch isn't on "cable".
Also finished The Sopranos. Honestly, not as good as I remember it. Currently rewatching The Wire. Again, another show I watched when it came out but haven't since so I remember almost nothing about it. So long ago. Recently started season 02 and digging it.
