But, these narratives of who's being contacted and who's leading a recruiting battle can change by the hour.
And half the time the reports are probably bullshit. Agents are usually the ones putting it out there, saying this school and that school have reached out to their client, just trying to drive up interest and price. Maybe those schools have reached out. Maybe they haven't. We all know agents are full of shit though and aren't the most honest people. 😂 And if they are honest, they aren't very good agents. They are basically just the sleezy defense lawyers of the sports world.

A St. John's fan told me that RJ Luis has been contacted by Miami. Not sure who their source is, but I'd figure they'd know better than most. Who knows? Obviously that's his hometown, so it does seem plausible. But, these narratives of who's being contacted and who's leading a recruiting battle can change by the hour.

Definitely have my fingers crossed. Do you know what other schools he's considering? I know the draft is still a possibility as well.

Auburn is another school that was mentioned.

But, I was told he's most likely going to stay in the draft. If he were to seriously consider a new home, it wouldn't be until after he withdrew from the draft. So you're looking at another month or two down the road before schools could really attempt to sway him.

Saint Freaking Johns! How much money do they have?!

A potential starting 5 of:
Ian Jackson
Oziyah Sellers
Joson Sanon
Bryce Hopkins
Zuby Ejiofor

... with Dylan Darling and Dillon Mitchell off the bench? And Rick Pitino coaching this squad? Sheesh. I thought Houston would be a preseason #1 lock, but St. John's has a legit shot, at least in my book.

No Michigan for Dauster? He must think Yaxel will stay in the draft (I do too). It's always a gamble with players like that.
