I've heard Duke has reached out. Though, Kentucky might be leading in this race. And UCLA is a player, as well. I'm sure it will heat up after the tournament ends.

This was UK's roster a year ago. We didn't even have a coach. Nothing but Mr. Basketball in the Commonwealth of Ky.

Not @dukedevilz but I really hope he leaves the ACC. His shot is pure. It’s legit beautiful. Release is quick but I wouldn’t call it an elite release. At least not when comparing him to someone like Kyle Guy. Not great at getting his own shot and not going to beat anyone off the dribble. His size is okay but he’s not a big guard. He’s a solid defender when he has help behind him. Not an incredible athlete but he’d be an excellent 3rd or 4th option on a championship caliber team. He still had a good season as our number 1 guy. He’s a good dude with no ego. He deserves to show what he can do in the tourney and that’s likely not happening at UVA next year.
I'm hearing Tennessee or Louisville are the 2 most likely destinations. Feel pretty confident you guys will land Ja'Kobi Gillespie.
I think UNC will grab Henri Veesaar (Arizona) and Kanon Catchings (BYU) soon. Veesaar would be a HUGE pickup for Carolina. Let's see if they can finally seal the deal with an elite big. Catchings has pro potential, but needs a little more development, especially on his defense - and probably his attitude/demeanor.
Aday Mara (UCLA) just entered the portal. Duke is supposedly going to go after him. Silas Demary (Georgia) is one of the bigger names in the portal. I heard he's seeking 2 mil. Duke has him on their radar. I love that he's a big guard. But, his shot selection is questionable. And an efg below 49% makes me question his value (Sion James, Proctor, and Knueppel are both north of 58%, FWIW).

I'm curious what Gillespie will do. He's from my hometown so Knoxville is just an hour away and definitely need a PG of his caliber. He'd fit in culture wise but maybe massive NIL money or possible grudge for not getting more interest out of HS could be a factor
Seems obvious but I know nothing about him. Some of my friends do because one coached him. I could see him following Willard or doing his own thing but seems like a perfect fit for both parties
How did I miss this? Big EAST POY and 2nd Team All-American, RJ Luis, entered the transfer portal. Good chance he declares and stays in the draft. But man! Can you imagine adding someone like that to your team?
His meltdown in the tournament was wild, though.
I've heard he's already given a verbal to Tennessee. Things sometimes fall through, but this recruitment should wrap up quickly.

Butler one of my favorite 1 year players ever at UK. His shoulder has been fvcked for months but he did what he could to play, and annihilated that euro kid at Illinois in the second round. Damn shame the team didn't get a chance at full strength.
Also, I'll believe it when I see it but there seems to be some real Braden Smith rumors going on at the homeboard. Would be crazy to see an AA from a good school to transfer like that.

I heard some Florida fans saying something similar. I don't expect it - and I also haven't heard anything about it from a credible source.
8 points per game, .7 assists, 37% from the floor and 35% from 3. Great free throw shooter though... 58%!!
