Top 3 2019 Recruit Charles Bassey Commits to...

1000% still going to WKU. Even though I wish they’d never even let him visit. It’s not a money thing though. It’s more of academically eligible. I say no chance he gets into a school like UofL or KU academically.

@HRTheCard Called this one. Can't get into Louisville or KU but reclassifies and goes to WKU sounds about par for the course with this kid.

LOL the NCAA tweets this, yet articles came out yesterday that nothing is probably going to happen to Baylor for covering up all that mess with the football team. Laughable.

It should be noted that Moustapha Diagne will also be on WKU. He's a former Top 100 recruit who was committed to Syracuse a few years ago but couldn't qualify academically. I think he has the same guardian as Bassey.

Another heartwarming human trafficking story.

How wonderful. Congrats to Hennssy on buying low and selling high!

I wish I could get human trafficked into potentially millions of dollars. Some people have all the luck.

If you win that lottery, sure.

Otherwise, if you don’t/can’t perform at the elite level like you were purchased to do, you get shipped off on a Greyhound in the middle of the night, uncertain where you’ll be living, speaking your second or third language, 2,000 miles away from your family.

Personally, I'd prefer to be directionless and speaking my second language in America than at home in a, likely, economically depressed or underdeveloped country with the fam. Flights back home aren't hard to come by for these guys, so it's not like they're stuck here either. If they can't afford a ticket home, our government is more than willing - eager, in fact - to stick non-citizens on a plane outta here.

Fair, there’s pros and cons to it.

Personally, I don’t like the lack of the free will for children. It’s a way to a better life for a lot of them, but it also benefits a lot of scumbags in the process.

I think we overlook it because it’s not sex related, but it’s still indentured servitude at best.

I mean, it worked out so well for Mitchell Robinson, why WOULDN'T Bassey want to follow the same path?? RollLaugh

I have no idea WTF a distaff set is.

Your trusty vicar of vocabulary will help you.

Looks like you're spot on. Can't believe some P5 were hoping to get him.
Same here. Very shady academics. It' close to home and I know some folks very familiar with him. All have said no chance he plays.
