Well let's see (Since your the one who keeps using a 10 year time frame) UK has 3 E8s in that timeframe. Thats more than UTs entire existence. They've also been to the FF in the timeframe. Again, more than UTs entire existence. Might want to move your 10 year timeframe to maybe one year.
UTjr’s metrics / rankings are so good that they are in for a 1, 2, or 3 seed no matter what. The team makeup is very interesting You have Ziegler, who we all love as a young man and as a player, then it’s a guy named Chaz (hard to trust a guy named Chaz) and Millicic. Most teams need 3 guys offensively and that’s been the question mark for the Vols. The defense is always there under Regular Season Rick, but can the Vols find enough offensively?
I have watched a lot of your games and I’d say the Mizzou game may have been the most impressive I’ve seen all year. If UTjr shoots like that, they can go all the way in March.

He’s going through a lot of medical stuff right now and he goes to clinics and hospitals in Knoxville 2 or 3 times a week, wearing his UK gear in there and talking a lot of smack right now.

Since 2017 Tennessee has the most SEC wins. Tennessee has done a lot of winning just hasn't had the tournament success to go with it
Define lately. What is your timeframe? It has to be less than 5 years, because UK won the league by 3 games in 2020 and went to the E8 in 2019. The 21/22 team was 1 off the pace in the SEC and beat you guys, unc and KU by 30 IIRC
Not only that, but UK is 5-1 vs UT in the last 6 meetings, so while it's not up to UK standards, it's not exactly as down as UT football has been since 1998.

In UK/U6 rivalry talk, the U6ers' standard tactic is to shift to other sports because UK owns them in hoops. I simply pointed out the series numbers in the other sport that BLOCKHEAD brought up, where UK also leads.

Speaking only for myself, when it comes to college athletics, I only watch/care about basketball (men's only, I have tried watching women's and the product is awful, no matter how much society/ESPN tries to shove women's sports down our collective throats) and football.
Any other accomplishments in other sports means diddly squat to me. Baseball, volleyball, track and field, gymnastics, cheerleading, tennis, etc, I couldn't care less who wins, as I don't watch.
Funny thing is, the majority of society feels the same way, as viewership bears out what I am saying.

The series is tight. Since Barnes UT has turned into a very good CBB program. That should last until Barnes leaves unless we luck up on a great replacement. I love Barnes because he has been great for UT.
I have never proclaimed that UT is a blueblood, but we are very capable.
