The SEC is shaping up to be a tough Conference

It was in response to his usual stupid drivel. U6 is still behind in that series.

And yes... the best repellant for U6 fans is FACTS.
However, you seem to be giving yourself a pass while enforcing a rule on others.

Sounds like both Butler and Robinson are going to be out for the next few weeks.

That puts UK without a PG again, and down two starters, including their SG.

How Pope keeps winning against quality teams in the toughest conference with a rash of injuries at the most important positions in college basketball is crazy.

UK is at Texas Sat, then home against Vandy the following week, before a trip to Bama. Will be interesting to see how Pope and the team handles this stretch with so many guys out.

Too bad UT isn't on the schedule again...

Another fun fact Vols have a bigger and more successful athletic program than UK.
lol really???😂 All we use to hear was how wonderful Rick Barnes, his head to head lead over Cal and his 10th straight “best team ever” was and now that you’ve lost that we now get to hear about your athletic department!!!! GTFOH😂😂😂😂😂

Rick Barnes is great, but UT is more than one coach. UT is the overall top Athletic program in the SEC and has been so for the last three years.

Yeah 85 here, but my parents didn't have any college affiliation so I didn't really get into college basketball much until 03-04. Before that I pulled for UNC bc their uniforms were cool and bc Jordan went there lol. I remember my first favorite college basketball player was Antawn Jamison 🤣.

Random fun tidbit. The first bracket I ever filled out was in 5th or 6th grade. I picked Umass to win it all in 1996 bc some kid in my class and the bus driver said they were dope and that Camby was the goat lmao. I didn't know shit back then haha. I'm sure ya'll know who won it that year. I think only one kid picked UK (the kid who actually printed the damn things and brought em to class lol) Ahh good times!

I started really getting into UK was '84 (the 84 in my username), I was 9 years old at the time and have been following ever since.

Ok I'd agree 90s were great for sure. I'm just a hair under 40 and I didn't really watch much 90s college ball. I got into it when I got to Florida in 04.

Pretty sure there wasn't a team on earth that had more tourney wins than UK did in the 2010s. Unfortunately when you have great teams it's still super hard to win it all and it hurts much more when you get knocked out. To me that's still better than saying meh we overachieved getting to the sweet 16.
When you have far more talent than everyone and shit the bed over and over, because you're coaching for individual goals and accomplishments, you're going to catch hell from the fanbase.
I don't know another top 20 program that would be okay with putting the NBA draft and individual promises above team success.

I was born and raised in Jersey. Grew up a Syracuse fan, because my dad went to college there and my mom was from there.

Parents got divorced in 84. Dad settled in Lexington, KY in 87. He brough my brother and I out to Lexington that year and brought us to a game. UK was playing Alaska and was on probation. The entire arena was full and loud as hell. That’s all it took. I threw my Syracuse shit in the trash and became a UK fan.

Then the Laettner shot happened. My fandom went up 10 notches from that point. That season and that tournament run really left an impression on me.

Google doesn't totally agree w/you....

The SEC All-Sports award is based on the total points a school earns for its finish in each SEC sport, divided by the number of teams competing in those sports. The award is given to the overall, men's, and women's teams.

How the award is calculated

  1. Add up the total points for a school's finish in each SEC sport
  2. Divide the total points by the number of teams competing in those sports
  3. The result is the quotient that ranks the program's finish

Example

  • If a school wins the SEC baseball championship, they receive 14 points
  • If a school places fourth in equestrian, they receive 4 points

Who presents the award
GateHouse Media presents the SEC All-Sports Award.

Past winners
The Florida Gators have won the SEC All-Sports Award 12 years in a row.

Sold out for Vandy. Our fans are realizing how desperatly we need this win. I think our team realizes it as well. I need this win for my mental health

I guess if we're comparing other sports to make up for the fact that we're embarrassed about our basketball accomplishments then I'll just point out that UKs cheerleaders have more championships than Tenn's entire athletic department combined. More championships equals better athletic program. Lol at UT.

No, we're comparing other sports cause JC was taking pop shots at UT and he was using CFB to beat up Rocky.

Too bad Cheer is not a sport.

But Rocky brought up football first. So why can't JC talk about it? Seems like you're sticking up for Rocky because of yalls relationship hating on UK 24/7.

Don't be salty that UK has more championships than UT.

No, it is pointing out it is hypocritical calling me out for something that JC does himself.

UK use to be a top CBB program, but not so anymore. I'm not aware of UK having any championships other than CBB and those ended decades ago. Y'all are pretty much Vandy in blue in all other sports, true?

Do we really have to have another history lesson on how UKs basketball program (and every other blue blood) has always had ebbs and flows. Kentucky could stop playing basketball for 300 years and would still boast better accolades than UT. Would you like to bet on who wins a basketball championship first? I'll bet you whatever you want that UK gets #9 before UT gets #1.

Kentucky has 38 national championships. UT has 18. Step your game up.

Why you making fun of Vandy? They're better than UT in basketball all time as well. You like to punch up a lot when you should be punching down to programs that are on your level.

The same thing is true in football, but the Vols enjoy a greater lead than UK in CBB. UT has also addressed CBB and have parity over the last 10 years, while UK is still a weakling in CFB.

Name your athletic Championships, Demarcus. I question your stated number.

I think UT holds the edge over Vandy in CFF and CBB.
I think Vandy has the edge on UK in CFB, so I wonder why you would bring this up?

Ut is is a far superior program to UK and it is silly to suggest otherwise. TBA is the same size as Rupp and Neyland could hold Rupp and Commonwealth and still have room for a couple a thousand of your closes friends.

UT hasn't addressed anything. You still are, always have been, and always will be nothing in the landscape of CBB. Your team has won NOTHING and never will.

You can use Google. It's pretty easy to search wiki.

Vandy is better than UT all-time in basketball. Sorry you have to accept that.
