The SEC is shaping up to be a tough Conference

Auburn has not won at rupp arena since 1985. UK could lose every game until Auburn goes there and I still wont feel good about that game. Auburn is cursed there. Most of the time Auburn gets destroyed there also.

Bored and depressed, playing this on bass right now, probably going to paint Aterwards, new stretched canvas. Better than sitting during an AA meeting.

Damn I thought we had a long streak vs ya'll since 1996. I looked it up though since I was born in 85, I wanted to see if I was alive when this happened. It was actually 1988!

Kentucky really got the F up for our game in Knoxville, they haven't looked the same since
Y'all just didn't hit shots. Arkansas and Ole Miss hit everything they threw up.

Misding Lamont Butler is proving to be a large hurdle to overcome.

They showed a lot of fight in the 2nd half tonight and at least tried to make it a game.

If UK keeps playing defense so bad it makes Alabama blush, then the streak will end. They will play the best defensive game of the year probably though.

Cats struggling! Got to do something about our defense. The only good I’ve seen the last couple of games is Amari Williams. Finally starting to play like a true 7fter. Good game Rebs!!!

If they win it's because they go crazy shooting/offense. They have nights they can just do that to you. I don't think they matchup particularly well vs Auburn though. Does anyone though?

Hoping to be that team that can, Bama has the barn at home on the 15th.

I would be shocked if UK beats Auburn this year. Terrible matchup for UK.

If Butler ain't back (hoping he is), things could go south quickly without a PG. UK struggled bringing the ball up the court against Ole Miss and Arky. What do you think Auburn would do?

Even with Butler playing, Auburn has too many athletes. May be close in first half, but Auburn has too much talent, which in my opinion, will take over in the second half.

again its a curse there until I see otherwise

I am sure he will lose a game or 2 in conference somewhere
sounds crazy but I think if your Auburn you want to lose a game or 2 before the tourney but not too many. The last 11 champions the most losses is 7 by Uconn but the least losses is 2 by that really good Baylor team. The sweet spot is 4-5 losses

of course before the tourney and honestly I dont care about winning the SEC tourney either. Won it last year and then lost to Yale. I mean look at kentucky in 2015. 38-0 until losing to wisconsin in final 4.

I was glad UK lost the SECT final to Vandy in 2012. I think it fueled their natty run, and it also meant Indiana couldn't boast about being the only team that prevented them from achieving perfection. 😂

Definitely served as a wake up call and helped the Cats roll through the tourney.

As for 2015, once the Cats got to 31-0, I was of the mindset that "well, they might as well just go for the undefeated season." In retrospect, a loss would have probably been the best thing that could have happened to UK, but they had a chance to make history. Still think if Poythress never got hurt that UK team rolls to 40-0. Bummer.
