If there was one game, and only one game that Arky was going to play like a FF contender this year with their hair on fire, you knew it would be the UK game.
When DJ Wagner is making step back threes, you know it probably isn't going to be UKs night. Arky played with, by far, the most energy and effort that they have all year. If I was an Arky fan, I would be asking where this effort has been all year. Why does it take UK for Arky to play with this type of energy for 40 min?
As for UK, they have two problems...they don't play any defense, and they don't have a PG.
If there is one position in college basketball that you cannot afford to have a competent player, it is the PG position. Both of UKs are out indefinitely. I would rather have injuries anywhere else, just not at PG.
