The SEC is shaping up to be a tough Conference

Calipari didn’t take over a probation team, but he did basically flip the roster.
Right, but Pitino didn’t have the optiin if bringing in guys like Wall, Bledsoe and Cousins and there was no AAU back then. It took Pitino a few years to get the plane off the ground.

Let me answer you like this: I liked Bruce while he was here. He was a showman here with his orange blazers ect.. He invested of himself at UT and was a great coach. I like Barnes too. I like Barnes more because of his beliefs and he is a great coach too.
That’s cool, but I would take Pearl over Barnes without hesitation, I like his style of play better.

Pearl may be leading in offense this year, but his roots are in defense. It showed in last nights game. I don't hate Pearl in the least and he is a great coach. However, I think Barnes is a better person. That kinda stuff matters to me.

Yeah, Barnes is a better person, with higher morals, but, since I won't have the option of hanging out with him on a personal basis and he isn't a member of my family, give me the guy that has the better system.
He’s traditionally a better offensive coach than Barnes is and his teams play more bove the rim than Barnes' teams do.

I think they are similar and depending on the roster is how they play.

Barnes sometimes has a better offense than Pearl. Would you take Pearl over Pope?
Give me a few more years with Pope, we aren't even through year 1 yet, BP has been coaching in the SEC for years, so it's not a fair comparison.

huh? Tennessee has gotten in ncaa trouble far more than Auburn has the last 30 years. Bad culture in knoxville it sounds
NCAA convicted Pearl vs some Auburn fan making allegations

Tn has not gotten in as much trouble as Auburn in the last 30 yrs, but that is not what we were talking about, so stay on point.

No we haven't, but that's not the point Pearl was let go from UT for lying to the NCAA with a show cause. Tony V has not been even been accused by the NCAA.

Yeah and like Pearl, we fired him. We get rid of bad apples, y'all recruit them.
Auburn Rehabilitates and makes upstanding citizens. Tennessee is to corrupt to do that. Just like now with Tony V. Breeding future roid rage incidents everywhere. Feel bad for the future wives Utk baseball

All right, that was funny. You can go on about Tony, but you're just sore cause he kicks your asses.

I

you have Tony V as your baseball coach and you want to talk ethics? Gtfo here. Your wntire baseball team is juicing. Including your coaching staff
I wasn’t gonna say anything but since you did….😂
Yeah, but he was going to get in trouble for having Aaron Craft at his house for that BBQ, that’s why he lied.

But if Bruce didn’t get in trouble and you had your choice, would you take Rick, or Bruce?
Exactly and if you think she would say anything other than Rick you don’t know Lou Lou to good😂 She would die before she would admit to Bruce being a better coach even though she knows it’s the truth.

Here she goes with the “stay on point” stuff she likes to do.😂 Wonder why you do that Lou Lou???

It is a way to avoid a circular conversation, that is why.

The no call on Okpara was still really bad. He was shoved to the side, hard to fully say if he'd have hit both of his free throws but if he had Auburns likely not making a comeback at that point

bro. You guys hammered broom everytime he got the ball down low and nothing called. CBM dunk attempt he got fouled by 2 differen guys. No call

yeah but it was also the way the refs were calling the game they weren't putting an emphasis on those fouls. The Okpara foul was not only just a foul but an intentional foul. It is what it is we lost you can't change it but that play in itself changed the game for us

This is stupid. You cant ignore other missed calls if you are going to bring up one missed call. Every call could have changed the game that was missed. You should be happy the refs allowed the game to be played like that. It was Tennessee only way to win.

Jay Bilas even on tv said it was an egregious missed call. The other calls were not terrible misses

How about Ziegler tripping over his own feet and Kelly getting called for the foul and going up 4? Tennessee benefitted from a lot of calls. That one play did not decide the game. The officiating was horrible both ways.

jay bilas is gospel?. Bilas also called out the missed call on CBM's dunk. Broome literally could have gone to the line every time he got the ball. Hell Barnes shouls have gotten T'd up when he threw his water down

I'm just saying that moment cost us the game, can't change what happened before that but that actually play changed the game for us, we lost momentum after that

other earlier calls though that were missed could have made that play inconsequential. Such As ZZ tripping over his own feet and getting a fouled called on Miles kelly right before that.

There were plenty of fouls not called on both sides. The game could have gone either way. If Zeigler hits that open 3 at the end Vols win, but he missed it.
