The SEC is shaping up to be a tough Conference

apparently Texas started 14-0 #1 under Barnes one year and nearly missed the tournament. Hate to be overdramatic but could be what we are seeing here. 0-4 in the next 4 is very real

Rough weekend for Tennessee. Both the men’s and women’s team falls at Vandy. I guess that would be UT’s biggest rival besides Kentucky.

If we lose tomorrow night I am going to absolutely lose my shit. This weekend has already got me down, don't think I can handle another loss and Miss St is very good with physical bigs. I don't feel confident

Rumors that Broome could be back Saturday. Auburn caught a huge break with not having a mid week game this week

I'll be okay if we lose to yall if we beat Miss St. If we lose that game we will now have to beat yall
UT just has to play smart. Mississippi state is very undisciplined, especially at the end of games when they have a lead. It’s like they're trying to see if they can snatch defeat out of the jaws of Victory.

Should be a great game, both teans need it.

I think Miss St is in far better shape with a loss than us at least for both teams standards. We will start looking like a 4 or a 5 seed with a loss

Every game involving the top 12 or 13 teams, is going to come down to the wire, with the exception of a couple that got away. Heck, South Carolina even gave Auburn all they wanted and almost won. And Arkansas almost… .yeah, nevermind. 😂

Tennessee is dealing with some of what UK has dealt with for many, many years. Since y'all have been so strong in the SEC and you're so highly ranked, you are going to get everyone's absolute best shot. You aren't going to sneak up on anyone. It’s great to see your team win, but it puts a huge target on your back.

Going to Thompson-Boiling Arena tomorrow night. Rooting for a 3 OT game!
Duke has 1 game left against a top 25 opponent before conference tourneys. Auburn has 8. Assuming Duke doesnt lose what does Auburn have to go in those games to get overall 1 seed?

Auburn is the class of the SEC, in my opinion.

To answer your question, they should be able to go 4-4 (while Duke could go undefeated), and Auburn should still be the number one overall seed.

Remember one thing about college basketball “It’s never as bad as it seems, and it’s never as good as it seems”

I’m sure you’ve followed college basketball long to realize that if there’s any opportunity to make Duke the #1 overall seed, it’s going to happen. Still a lot basketball left, but if Auburn is a 1 seed I just want it to be in the South region.

I don't think it'll make much difference. Duke wants the East Region; Auburn wants the South Region. Assuming both teams hold form more or less, we'll likely be on opposite sides of the bracket.

I personally would give a 3-loss Auburn team the #1 overall seed over a Duke team that went undefeated in ACC play. I don't think it's likely that Duke goes undefeated - even if there is a talent gap between Duke and the other schools; it's likely that we'll lose 1 or 2 games. SMU, Louisville, Pitt, Clemson, and UNC are all in the top 40 of the NET and KenPom. Wake is playing better.

I think the committee will favor a 15-3 Auburn team over a 19-1 Duke team. If Auburn goes 14-4 in SEC play, then it could be a toss up.

Dodged that bullet. Thanks, Tyson foods! I will buy as many dino nuggets as possible to show my support! I saw the same video yesterday but the caption was, "When you realize you took an edible before doing something serious." 😂 Then I just saw another one that said, "my husband farting and waiting for someone to smell it." 😂

Hush up, little britches. If AB says Vols top 5, it's in the nation.
