Cal was never a good coach, he just tried to out-talent everyone.

As far as the records go, that would be a good point if both teams played the same schedule, but that's not the case.

Arkansas has zero quality wins, 4 losses, are about to start conference play 0-3, with 2 of those losses at home.

UK has 3 losses and 3 wins over top 10 teams and has played a much harder schedule.

You can't just look at the records and say everything is equal.

You have to look at the fact that Tennessee fans hold Cal in a high regard. They want Cal to be a great coach so that one game lead Barnes has on him in their all important head to head matchups looks better. If Barnes retires with no final fours at UT it won’t matter as long as he has that meaningful 1 game advantage over Cal😂

You could be right. Most people that call themselves college basketball fans have always known Cal is a D- level bench coach. The old joke was "Cal just rolls the balls out". It’s the truth and now that he's not getting top 5 talent spread across the lineup and he's old, the warts he has, are massive.

This literally makes zero sense, you would have a point if Cal left for Arkansas after the 2017 season, but since then, he has lost to Evansville at home, Richmond at home, UNCW at home, Saint Peters in the tournament as a 2 seed with a generational talent/NPOY on the roster, Oakland in the tournament as a 2 seed, he allowed Schaedon Sharpe to be on the roster, collect NIL, use our facilities, but sit out, he refused to play the best lineups and he put the NBA draft and himself ahead of UK.

Additionally, he has a loaded roster this year, UK has a mid-major roster and UK is miles better.

So tell me, why the hell would UK fans want that shit show back?
