That was not a foul on the three point shot by Edwards at the end of regulation. Another horrible call by an official.

BIG Sucks.

Certainly not the most egregious contact, but it was definitely a foul. The fact that similar plays occasionally go uncalled is irrelevant. It’s either a foul or it’s not, and if it is it should be called. Never agreed that refs should just swallow the whistle on the final possession.

The refs did everything to help Tenn get back into the game fast......... I think it was a foul at the end but oh well......... its just a make up for the refs being freaking whistle happy against Purdue the 12 minutes prior..

Agreed. Some of the fouls called against Purdue on their jump shooters were highly questionable in particular.

It was a foul, he got him with his body. They could have called it or not, but he did get him. Turner was giving his all and I don't fault him.

UT allowed Purdue over 50% from the field and UT was abysmal from the FT line. Either would have turned the game in UT's favor. So, it was what it was.:)

I didnt think he made any contact. But considering all the b.s. antics Williams and Co. used all season to get calls, turnabout is fairplay. Live by the refs die by the refs. Poetic justice for Tennessee.
I am glad that Tennessee lost.

Williams, Schofield and Bone work the officials.

The problem is: last night they were not SEC officials who would listen to them.RollLaugh

The dumbest play in basketball is fouling a three point shooter. There is a 60/70% chance he will miss, so why take the chance of giving him three free throws? Also about a 5% chance if blocking the shot, why take the chance?? Dumbest play in basketball.

It was a foul for impeding his space and he bumped him with his lower body while the shooter was following through with his shot. It was a textbook call.

This. Beyond obvious. Just like the ball obviously didn't go off of Carsen either.

It was one of those plays where I could understand it being called and understand if the ref wanted to swallow the whistle. But Kudos and much respect for you for your maturity about the call. Unlike the man vagina Clay Travis who's losing his sh*t over that call on twitter. lol

Thanks:)

It was definitely a foul. I'm NOT a fan of foul after the release being called a shooting foul, but that's the way the rules work.

Also, no one will feel sorry for UT after the way they played the refs all season long.
