Great play drawn up by Houston, bonehead move leaving the inbounder.
It was a specific play designed to take advantage of how Purdue defends inbounds. Great job by Sampson, but leaving the inbounder was by design, the other guys didn't execute properly.

Yep and cryer would’ve been open if Braden stayed.

Great execution by Houston.

Well congratulations @AuHoosier420. Game was closer than the final score indicated. Auburn went on an absolute tear after Pearl called TO when we went ahead by 6 with around 12 minutes left.
yep. I dont need to see Auburn play Danny Wolfe again. He had great games against us both years in the tourney

Huh? In regional, UCONN bracket had.a 1, 2, 3 and a 5 seed, last year. Who cares who's in rhe other region.

Ftr, Uconn beat a 4 and a 1 for.the title.
uconn has won 3 national games in which they played two 8 seeds and one 5 seed

Now show the goaltend
As I’ve said multiple times, we got a couple of breaks in the first half. Unfortunately, Houston got pretty much all of them late. It’s basketball. Officials aren’t perfect. That’s why I’d like to give coaches a couple of challenges a game to force the officials to look at clear mistakes. Tough to implement but we do it in other sports.

Do it like they do in the NBA.

It was the typical Cal end of game offense, not fouling up 3, and saving timeouts.

I understand this works for him when there is a big talent/athleticism gap but those days have been gone for a while .

So I'm not an expert. But it does seem Cal is a great recruiter and talent manager. But not a great Xs and Os guy. Almost the opposite of like Coach Knight.

I have no idea why they had Wagner taking last shots when Davis was the hot hand.

Yes, you are absolutely correct, officials aren’t perfect, they are like us, just people that do make mistakes in the fast pace of the game, but why not have replay to a certain limit.
