So Lebron...

Cavs are in a weird spot. LeBron is probably out of there after this season, so do they try and build around him for one more title run? Or do they say eff it and move on

Either situation would be big. Him going to Houston would be a pretty insane squad.
I personally think Houston would be his best choice as well. Thing is.. I still don't think that team would be able to beat Golden State in a 7 game series.

Dude wants to win.

I Do Not Blame.
I don't really agree with what he does. I mean, this is about to be the second time he's left Cleveland in the dust. He goes to teams, hand picks who he wants to play with, and then bolts after it doesn't work out. LeBron is an all time great, but his act is getting pretty old.

They actually have some decent pieces to win with minus LeBron.

Need a superstar tho

I think they made these moves not worrying what his plans are.

Reports are coming out now that the Lakers’ move puts them in prime position to go after LBJ and Paul George this summer. I think he goes there or to Houston to form a super team with Harden and Paul.
Just have a hard time seeing him going near Papa Ball. Let's say he does....what's best case scenario? win a title obviously, right? And if they do, the loudmouth gets on the stage and tells everyone how he called it and helped make it happen

I can't stand Lavar, but Lonzo, PG, LeBron, and Ingram would be a pretty solid core to build around. Not to mention the picks. Like I mentioned though, I think he'd be better off in Houston.

He hasn't left you know.

And I know all the former greats make us think they'd never do that but know way we can know. FA rules were far different then. MJ was paid $37 million by the Bulls. Let that number sink in, and remember this was 20 years ago. There were no max deals and no other team could offer anything close to that.

The guy hated Kraus. You don't think if someone could offer him comparable money he might have even considered sticking it to the guy?

I don't think he can stand Lavar either. what picks? Current one belongs to Boston, I believe. The one the cavs just gave them hopefully lands in the 20s.

Houston will need to dump some guys to make it happen unless he will play for the midlevel.

Right, all of my post was assuming he's gone, which I could very well end up being wrong about.

I totally get finding the best place to win, but at some point people will start using it against you as far as your all time greatness. LeBron my be starting to get to that point if he bolts again. If you go from team to team and pick who you want to play with year to year, it has to hinder your greatness to some degree. I would like to see Lebron prove me wrong and stay in Cleveland.

I thought the Lakers got an extra pick? Could be wrong about that. Maybe I'm thinking of Boston's pick. That's probably it

Possibly, but I also think this makes them better this year. IT was a bad experiment that failed miserably. DWade gets to go retire in Miami. They have some nice pieces to complement KLove (when healthy) and LeBron. Still can't beat the Warriors, but that was never going to happen this year. They might be able to beat the Celtics and Raptors now though.

You were right...they did get the Cavs' pick...but will probably be in the 20s.

wouldn't count them out against the Warriors should they make it that far. Wouldn't bet on them in that series, though. But a Korver 3 point shot away from at least a Game 6 last year. would be a totally different roster, so who knows how they'd stack up?

"Jor-dan's bet-ter, Jor-dan's bet-ter"
I’ve never been a big LeBron guy, but I’ve really come to appreciate him as the years have gone by. He’s not Jordan, but if don’t compare him to Mike, he’s one of the best that have ever played the game. In fact, he will probably go down as number two.

Not sure Lebron demanded Cleveland trade Wade and Thomas. More like a good business decision for the Cavs.
