Selection Sunday thread

Don’t expect Purdue to reach the S16 the way we are playing right now but if we somehow do, we get to play in Indy. That doesn’t suck.

West Virginia and Boise got hosed.
WVU best wins against then ranked teams.
No. 3 Gonzaga
No. 24 Arizona
No. 7 Kansas
No. 2 Iowa St

Boise beat 6 tournament teams including a No. 4 seed

However, UNC got in with their best win being No. 18 UCLA. They also lost to Kansas who WVU beat. The B12 this year definitely was better than the ACC. Texas getting in with 15 losses is also kinda crazy.

West Virginia also lost to Pittsburgh by 24 and Louisivlle by 9. Boise lost to Boston College, who was 4-16 in the ACC.

Again, there is no good argument to be made for a team getting hosed. You can make an argument for any of these teams over another team. You can't say anyone was screwed though. None of them really deserve it.

Oh, sorry, thought you wanted to know who your daddy was.

Bilas just picked all 4 1 seeds to the Final 4 lol ok dude.

If I'm being honest, I could see it this year. Those 4 are a step above the rest of the country. Likely won't happen because it's March Madness, but...

My last (maybe) comment on the Louisville screw job. How many teams ranked 13th at the end of the season, ended up being an 8 seed. It pays more to lose

We were 21 in kenpom in 2017 and ended up an 8. We did beat the overall number 1 seed that year. I don’t remember if we were ranked in the polls.
