SEC/ACC challenge matchups…

UVA at Auburn is probably as much of a lock as Duke-UK.

The O/U on the number of "Ty Jerome Double Dribbled" signs is being set at 8000
Haha If it’s at auburn I will take the over.
I assume Uk will pkay duke or unc for sure

I think you can expect Duke/UK every year that they're not playing in the Champions Classic.
Champions Classic.
2023
Michigan State vs. Duke
Kansas vs. Kentucky

2024
Kansas vs. Michigan State
Kentucky vs. Duke

2025

Michigan State vs. Kentucky
Kansas vs. Duke

CBS Sports Classic.

In January, UK signed a three-year extension for the annual neutral-site showcase event. The new contract, obtained by The Courier Journal, keeps Kentucky in the event alongside North Carolina, UCLA and Ohio State through the 2026-27 season. The CBS Sports Classic will continue to be played on the Saturday before Christmas each year.

Kentucky will play Ohio State in 2024, UCLA in 2025 and North Carolina in 2026 in three cities that will be determined at a later date.

UK plays UNC this season.

UK is locked in on three really good OOC games for a while.

Has anyone heard how long the ACC/SEC is signed through?

4 great games if UL gets their act together. Counting on UL is like counting on SEC teams to be good.

Who's gonna get snubbed for the ACC this year? Louisville should be, but their name recognition prob gets them a pass. Will probably be BC, GT, or Wake.

On a side note I am dvkxibf shitty over this draw for Auburn. Auburn has the best record in the SEC over the last 6 years. Yet we get a boring bottom dweller ACC opponent to host. They need to switch the tamu/uva matchup. Freaking Arkansas gets to host duke and auburn has won the sec twice to Arkansas none recently. Tamu and Va tech would even have intrigue with buzz having coached at both.

VT and A&M are in same preseason tourney so they probably wanted to avoid a potential rematch. They still should have figured out a way for UVA-Auburn to happen.

Vols @ UNC on the 29th. I'm really looking forward to an exciting game against the Heels.

Winning the conference in recent years have no bearing what opponents you draw. And you would think after 4 years your fixation for UVA would fade but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.

Yeah UVA rarely got one of the top 2-3 teams in the ACC/B1G challenge despite winning the ACC regular season pretty regularly.

I wonder how they determined who was home and who was away the first year? Since uva and auburn are both home obviously they couldn’t play.

Would feel so much better if the game was in South Florida, lol. Don't love our chances of going into Rupp and winning.

I do think it helps Miami that the game is relatively early in the season. A veteran Miami team with a core group of 3rd year guys vs Kentucky's super-talented youngsters.

It's not like this is a one year thing. It will happen.

Bc Arkansas is a flat out better basketball program than Auburn. We’ve been to the sweet 16 3 times in the last 3 years and 2 elite 8’s. The program is continuing to trend up.

Going deep in the tournament is more important than a conference championship IMO.

Huh? Going deep in the tourney? Auburn is the most recent team to go the final 4 from the SEC.

Pretty cocky for Wake to schedule twice.. and no Lou?

I'll watch, for sure,
Duke/Arky
Kentucky/Miami
Tennessee/North Carolina
& Missouri/Pitt
There's some gems there.

I do like Virginia but again I am not a believer in aTm; I somewhat like Auburn but have made a killing not believing in VaTech.

When Auburn becomes a real team they will get better matchups. :D

Why time date Auburn? Prior to 6 years ago they were playing for last place!
