Louisville looked formidable last night vs Miss St. It was a blowout the final score a little misleading +14 they were up 30 with 10 min to go I think. Individually each player has limitations but collectively they may end up being okay. They have a ton of guys good enough to play but no alpha. Sloppy with the turnovers maybe when Mack returns that gets cleaned up. They have a few big men that goof around with it on the perimeter and that just screams run out for the other team. But they do have a handful of guys that can hit the 3. The PG is limited offensively but he could be a stopper on D. They seemed to be dialed in mentally on D and were kind of punking Miss St.
It is possible MSU is just a very bad team, they shot 1-15 from 3s. I think UNC fans might be annoyed by their team but losing Brooks not really a big deal. The guy didn't have much of a motor last night. If that's his standard they are better off with whoever has replaced him. 8&4 in 33 min with a WTF are you doing 0-5 from 3pt line for a guy that thinks he's an NBA 1st Rounder is just bad. Jeffries from Memphis was invisible. Also, Watts didn't do anything, 2 points. Don't know a ton about them overall but this could be an example of people over estimating value from transfer portal. Off season it seemed the consensus was Miss St was a big winner on the portal. Still early maybe they get better, but they looked like dog sh!t last night.
