And the Big Ten's top two teams are a combined 0-4 vs the ACC, with none of them against Duke, UVA, or UNC. The ACC is still king and deserves the most bids.

Purdue is much better now. And PSU beat VT. Michigan beat UNC, which is the hottest team in the ACC

I don't think much of a conclusion can be drawn from The Challenge.

All we hear about during football season is ACC fans whining about conference honking

I'm not the OP and I really don't care about his point. Purdue is obviously much improved now compared to earlier in the season.

But is it really conference honking if the OP is a fan of one of a team that beat Purdue? It's not like it's a Wake Forest fan saying this.

You think one of UVA, Duke, or UNC will lose in the first round?
Im referring to the overall trend of those 2 conferences historically getting overepresented and hyped and then shitting the bed.

This is the equivalent of everyone going on and on about SEC bowl records in a given season.

FWIW i think UNC makes the Final 4 those other 2 dont.

overall trend? didn't the ACC have like half the s16 and elite 8 a couple years ago?

Not sure what trends you're talking about, but the ACC has put up record setting NCAAT performances of late. I think 2-3 years ago the ACC had the most number of wins in one tourney ever. And then came close to matching that total a year or so later.

well the years where it doesn't work out it's because there is a referee conspiracy against the ACC so those years don't matter.
That's a weird stance to take by him. Just the other day somebody posted conference records in the NCAA tournament since 1985 and the ACC and Big East were way out ahead of everybody else.

You’re literally doing the same thing by implying that last years collapse is the “norm” and is a “trend.” That’s so 2 sided
Your stats, at least rhe ones that arent vacated, still count towards the AAC. You dont even have a horse in this fight.

Excellent retort and right on topic. Thanks for proving my point by being a complete 2-sided hypocrite.

Anyway, if Purdue were a stock Id be selling.

ACC feels like its 3 teams and a bunch of meh, just like the SEC.

Speaking of the AAC, who goes further/is more dangerous.....Cincinnati or Houston

How is this even remotely similar to the OP? Also Iowa got dominated by Pitt in that game, so I would hardly brag about that one.
Well your logic is if ACC teams beat Big Ten teams then ACC > Big Ten.

But the counter logic is that Iowa > everyone, and if Iowa beat Pittsburgh, which they did, and Pitt is a part of the ACC (your loss)..........then Iowa > ACC.

Deal with it.

You gotta listen to my posts. No way we were wining this one.
I thought yall might win or just lose by a few. At +11 I just needed you to not lose by 12 or more. That wasnt an unreasonable expectation...I thought anyway lol

Purdue had to replace 4 Senior starters and it took a while to get the team hitting on all cylinders. They started the season 6-5. Since then, they've gone 14-2 and are a half game out of first place in the B1G and looking like a 3 seed in the NCAAT. Not too bad for a team that was considered a bubble team at the start of the season.

I wish Kansas would schedule more B1g games, get some rivalries started before they inevitably join the conference.

Maybe now that the b1g has finally started playing better ball Dolla Bill will start calling them again. Had some fun battles with OSU earlier this decade. I'm sure their fans would love another shot now that Holtmann has been hot in recruiting.

They really don't deserve to be a higher seed than FSU, but they probably will be. FSU has a better record, playing in a better conference, has the edge vs common opponents, and also has the head-to-head. Metrics be damned.

You guys have 2 bad conference losses while Purdue has zero. Also, I wouldn’t necessarily agree you play in a better conference.
