LOL we were missing 2 starting guards against Clemson and got one back for his first game of the season against Miami. Would love to play those teams again with a full squad.

Not really. They play slow tempo, which is our style and not what gives us the most problems. You don’t know much about us.
Not worried about N Texas. More worried about Winthrop if they beat Nova (which I have a large bet on moneyline).

I am not so sure about that, recruiting hasnt been good for UCLA for a very long time. They should've kept Ben Howland, he may be only as good as Tom Crean as a coach but hes a great recruiter. There was a reason that UCLA had a 3 straight Final 4 appearances between 2006 to 2008 under Howland.
Athleticism gives you issues.
Been that way for awhile.
Regarding slow tempo.
They are because they can control the game with their athleticism. Some attempt to do it on the defensive end
LOL ok. We will control the game by killing them down low. Athletic teams play fast not slow. We are better on offense and defense. Plus Jaden Ivey will be the best athlete on the court.

I am not real high on him because I have watched a lot of the B1G. The overall athleticism with the bigs is very low.
UNT is a creation of the Baylor program...
You see a lot of similarities
Except for the elite scoring. Our true weakness are centers that can shoot 3s, like Garza and Lidell. N. Texas doesn’t have that, which is a huge no no for an upset against this version of Purdue. If you actually knew our team, you would know that. Just stop.
edit: it’s not just one big. It’s two bigs, with our 7’4 backup having improved several levels throughout the season.
This isn’t me just guessing. Look up their recruiting for 2021 and 2022. They have a top 10 class and are favored to pull in another 5 star.
They already have a top 3 recruit committed for 2022. They had a 5 star committed to the last class but he went G League because of Covid.
Idk. Bassey is really solid. He would be on one of the all-conference teams. Dynamics obviously change quite a bit when you're playing with better players and you're not an automatic go-to option. But, against Memphis, West Virginia, Louisville, and Alabama, he averaged 19 ppg, 12.3 reb, 3.8 blk, and shot 63% from the field. Pretty darn effective against quality competition. Not a guarantee, but I think he'd be a decent candidate for 1st Team, if nothing else.
This aged nicely.
Again? Among the Big 4 Blue Bloods, Kansas has only advanced furthest in the tournament four times this century.

ibwas on drake -2.5. Absolutely brutal to watch them panic when they got the turnover and turn it right back over to dude who nailed the open3 fml.
watching the dumpster fire of drake/wich just kept bringing me back to Louisville got ****ed smh. Not saying we beat them 10/10 but dam drake scored 10 pts the first 10 mins of each half, and won!!! Crazy.
If he doesn't clean shit up he will.
