One of the great college basketball coaches. Just an amazing cbb coach.
I’d love it for the ACC. I sort of (based on pretty much nothing) feel that BC views themselves as being above Pitino (from an institutional/academic perspective...not athletically obviously) and would never pull the trigger on it.
They’d be smart to hire him pronto in my opinion, though.

I don’t think it was zero self awareness, I think it’s his ego and arrogance that he thought he was untouchable and above the rules.

If Beilein hated recruiting at Mich., I can’t imagine that the BC job would be attractive to him.

Truthfully I believe Beilein didn't want to get into the mud of dirty recruiting.
Doesn't matter what school you are this makes things difficult.
