We know UCLA, California and Washington State will be looking for new coaches. Who do you think is on the shortlist for these teams?

UCLA:
- Luke Walton
- Barack Obama (Bill Walton wants him)
- Eric Musselman
- Earl Watson

California:
- Jason Kidd
- Randy Bennett
- Russell Turner

Washington State
- Leon Rice
- Travis Decuire
- Russell Turner

Luke Walton would be a great fit for UCLA I'd love to see that happen. I hate the way he got ran out of town by the LeBron Mafia but the PAC 12 needs a healthy UCLA basketball program just as much as the Pac 12 needs a healthy USC football program.

I believe Walton can do that for UCLA.

PAC 12 needs some consistency from UCLA. If they can get back to playing good basketball and Zona rebounds, the PAC will be fine.

UCLA should be able to land a solid coach (I would think). Not so sure about California or Washington State - might need to go the mid-major route. Randy Bennett would be excellent, if he were ever to leave SMC.

Dave Rose announced his retirement from BYU today. Not a high-profile job, but I think they'll probably land Mark Pope, former Kentucky player and current Utah Valley coach, as their next HC. Also, very interested to see who lands the spot at UNLV. That position might be as equally attractive as the UCLA job. They've never had trouble recruiting in Vegas - just can't seem to get the right group of guys to mesh well together (or stay more than 1-2 years).

Wazzu may be interested in Tim Miles now

Pretty good hire. USF stumbled down the stretch in the WCC, but he's been fairly solid. 4 consecutive 20+ win seasons. First and foremost he's gotta get Wazzou out of the recruiting slump. They've gone 11 straight years without a top 100 recruit. Sad when a good chunk of the MWC/WCC can out-recruit Wasington State.

Pullman is nearly impossible to recruit to. Tony Bennett is the only recent coach to have any success in Pullman.
